I am appalled yet not surprised, that you would run that nasty cartoon of Pope Benedict on July 22. Where were you when the cartoons of the prophet Mohammed made the rounds?

You were not brave enough to run them, but Catholics once again are easy prey! Shame on you!

jVA, you haven’t even seen the cartoon,so you have no idea what you are talking about. You should do your homework so you don’t make a fool of yourself.

It really did look an awful lot like Hitler-era cartoons depicting penurious Jews. Go back and look for it—unfortunately, it did not appear online. It had nothing whatever to do with politics and world affairs. It was a vicious personal attack on a religious figure, period. Ms. Christian is correct that the MJM would never dare depict Mohammed or any other respresentative of Islam in this sort of light.

Why would the Potomac News run Dutch cartoons about muslims?  Everything is not a conspiracy.

I’m not even sure what cartoons were run about the Pope.  But the Pope injects himself into politics and world affairs, so he is fair game for people to comment on whether it is by an editorial letter or an editorial cartoon.  Get over it.
