I awoke on Wednesday morning to a very monumental day in political history. I went outside to pick up my paper, anxious to see your headline. I have to say it was clever, but maybe not too original.
That’s acceptable.
Then I panned down to the picture of the girls hugging with a beer in their hand at a bar with the TV in the far background.
The county had kids stumping all day along the highways with signs and enthusiasm in their hearts for both parties.
I’m sure there are hundreds of pictures from your photographers that show a county excited about the election process.
Why did you choose a bar scene to depict history? I had my teenage daughter out working for the process and she really worked hard. For the first time in a long time young kids are involved.
You say this is a new government and this is how you choose to project it?
Shame on you!
