Retail managers! Whatever happened to the fine art of counting change? I’m tired of having change thrown at me.
I recently made a morning run and stopped at a donut shop. My order came to $6.06 and I handed the clerk at $10 bill. Rather than counting out my change, the clerk struggled while trying to balance a
crumpled pile of dollar bills all facing different directions, an obnoxiously long receipt, all topped off with a pile of unknown change.
It was as if she couldn’t wait to get it out of her hands and into mine before the pile toppled. And she never said a word while doing so.
Show some respect for your customers’ patronage. Train your workers and see to it that the forgotten practice of counting change is brought back.

Mr. Bradley should have given her a penny or even six cents to really befuddle her!
