Candidate’s histories, seen side by side

I read an article today announcing that John McCain plans to go negative against Barack Obama in the last month before the election. So why don’t we just get the mud slinging over with now?

Obama associated with a radical pastor who said unkind things about the USA; sort of like that right-wing pastor, Jerry Falwell, who claimed that the attack of 9/11 was God’s wrath brought down on us
for being tolerant of homosexuals. Once calling Falwell an “agent of intolerance” McCain later changed his stance while seeking votes from the religious right.

Obama is accused of having associated with men with shady histories, one of whose actions took place when Obama was eight years old. Is that like the co-conspirators John McCain associated with
over 20 years ago as a member of the “Keating Five?”  This group ran interference against government scrutiny of Charles H. Keating, Jr, owner of the Lincoln Savings & Loan, and a very generous McCain
campaign donor. The S&L ultimately failed, costing taxpayers $3.4 billion, and more than 20,000 Americans lost their savings. McCain was formally reprimanded by the Senate Ethics Committee for his
involvement.

In the family-values department, a topic near and dear to many voters, a comparison of the candidates’ marriages shows that the Obama’s just celebrated their 16th anniversary and seem secure in their
love for each other and their daughters. By contrast, Mr. McCain saw fit to pursue and get engaged to a younger, prettier, and healthier new woman while still married to his first wife, who was disfigured in
a car crash while awaiting his return from Vietnam.

We can see that there is room to go negative on both sides. Now perhaps we can look at the real reason for selecting a president — where he stands on the critical problems facing our nation and how he
would try to solve them. I urge fellow voters to look at the issues and vote for the candidate who is serious about this election — Obama is the decisive winner in this regard.

Could that be the same way (foaming at the mouth) Bushy Boy looked on national television today in attempt to stop the panic, as the stock market keeps crashing day by day. The news finally did use the C word C=Crash.

Godsaver:  you keep posting the same b.s. about Obama when he was 8 years old, who is a neighbor, who served on a same committee, etc.  I think everyone has read it, and few believe it or care one way or another. BUT, if you want to dig up bones, try these:

1. McCain’s deserting his family and kids;
2. McCains whoring around while married.
3.  The Keeting 5 scandal, involving McCain, less than 20 yres ago (compare to 36 yrs ago for Obama being 8).
4. mcCain’s contributions and paid vacations for him and family, provided by Keating.
5. His supporting Bush 90 or 95% of the time.
6.  In the primaries, telling OUTRIGHT LIES on his platform just to trick voters.
7. Stealing the Democrats platform of change.
8.  voting for deregulation - a big supporter.
9.Reagan supported, another deregulation idiot.
10. A vote for socialistmby his vote on the 700 billion bailout.
11. Picking a dim bulb and looney Gooney for his VP running mate.

The list goes on and on.  Once you’ve responded to these, I’LL furnish more.

Our newly exposed Republican racist, PWANON, who supports the McCain-Palin ticket, has now written that affirmative action has set them (minorities) back.

Well racist PWANON, please cite the “progress” minotities were making before Brown vs. Board, Loving vs, Virginia, and a host of other Supreme Court decisions.  And you simply cannot.  What ignorance. Perhaps you wildly liked the “progress” of the Mississippi killings of Freedom Marchers. Or the Selma Bull Conner tactics (i.e. “progress”). And the assissination of Martin L. King. And the list goes on and on - burnings, riots, looting, church bombings, etc.—- all examples of how non-affirmative action was working at it best, especially since the South had gone from Democratic to racist Republican.

And you say AA has done nothing to help minorities.  Then how did that progress that has been made come about? Eat your heart out Mr. racist, the court decisions were made by liberal judges; only die-hard racist swine disagree with the decisions.

You’re mixed up (I know you are racist and ignorant), but are you saying lynchings would occur by whites if alleged preferential treatment in employment and college admissions were eliminated for monorities.  After all, it was the whites who did the lynchings. You need mental help.

And let us know if your racial/AA position is the same as McCain-Palin’s.

I am certainly glad I already voted already with my absentee ballot before it got too hairy with the mud slinging. I can’t even stand to watch the news with our economy and the low blows. It is all too depressing. I guess there is one silver lining in the cloud. The lousy economy has forced OPEC to lower their prices and there is not one thing they can do about it. I am going on 53 and am retired Navy and a Disabled Veteran. I am in the process of selling a home in Dale City which has been on the market since July 16th of 2007. It’s paid off and I already made three price adjustments. For the most part I am located in Simi Valley, California.  With all the Veteran Bills that I have seen fly by and the money and benefits, that I had to wait many years to get and still waiting for a bit more, which I’ll eventually get to finish the VA-Claim System off, and along with my fellow comrades that have been injured in the service, I do believe I will take the chance for a change, as I did when I voted last week. “Obama is accused of having associated with men with shady histories, one of whose actions took place when Obama was eight years old.” But at his forty Obama knew that he was a terrorist.
William Ayers ,an unrepentant terrorist . According to Fox news Documents released Tuesday by the University of Illinois at Chicago shed some light on Barack Obama’s relationship with William Ayers, a founding member of the 1960s and 1970s radical group the Weather Underground. The massive collection of newly released documents—140 boxes full of them—includes agendas that clearly put Obama and Ayers in the same room for meetings of Chicago Annenberg Challenge, an educational initiative that Ayers was instrumental in starting and that Obama chaired in the 1990s.
William Ayers is a very known professor that promote radical ideology at the University of Illinois. .
Obama, during his four-year tenure in Chicago as a community organizer, worked as a trainer for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now ACORN.
It is on the news also, August 26, Nevada state authorities seized records and computers Tuesday from the Las Vegas office of ACORN organization tied to Barack Obama that tries to get low-income people registered to vote, after fielding complaints of voter fraud.
Bob Walsh, spokesman for the Nevada secretary of state’s office, told FOXNews.com “the raid was prompted by ongoing complaints about “erroneous” registration information being submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN”. For which Obama work has Lawyer community organizer.

Washington attorney Robert S. Bennett was appointed as special outside counsel to the committee, tasked with conducting the investigation . After his investigations ,The Ethics Committee of the Senate ruled that the involvement of McCain in the scheme was also minimal, and he too was cleared of all charges against him. McCain was criticized by the Committee for exercising “poor judgment” when he met with the federal regulators on Keating’s behalf. The report also said that McCain’s “actions were not improper nor attended with gross negligence and did not reach the level of requiring institutional action against him….Senator McCain has violated no law of the United States or specific Rule of the United States Senate.“

Just say no to socialism and more lunacy.  Vote Bob Barr in 2008 and get all the crooks out of the White House.

“At last!  We have another Republican racist out of the closet:  PWANON”

I wouldn’t even know where to start with the absurdity of that post.  Aside from the fact that AA is totally unconstitutional (or, so says the 14th Amendment…but liberal judges don’t much care for those pesky things), it hasn’t done a single to thing to help minorities in this country.  In fact, its done nothing but set them back.

But you’re right…It’s totally logical to think that if we did away with preferential treatment for minorities in employment and college admissions, lynchings would come back tomorrow.

Wow.

At last!  We have another Republican racist out of the closet:  PWANON.

He or she has “affirmative action” hung or stuck in his racist craw - he just can’t get over desegregation, civil rights, etc.  Must be from the dying city of Manassas or a Corey Stewart supporter.

Shows Republican desperation.  Like the ignorant Palin and mentally ill McCain (so says Bush), he spouts off before thinking.  The hatred of affirmative action is so deeply rooted he can’t think reasonably.

As a Republicsan McCain-Palin supporter he believes affirmative action should be an issue (i.e. repealed), and we can get back to racism, lynchings, denying voting rights, poll tax, white only juries, white supremacy, separate but equal, etc. - issues darling to Repubs.
