Catching up on misleading mailings

I’d been away and was eager to get home, you know, so I could catch up on things needing to be, well, caught up on. Like checking the junk mail. I wasn’t disappointed, I’d received 10 slick and glossy,
full color, super-sized postcards from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). They all said Keith Fimian, Republican candidate for Congress, was a member of an organization
that “encouraged women to be more submissive.” Other dastardly things were alleged too, like he’ll take your contraceptives away and that the values “promoted by Fimian’s organization weren’t our
values.” Seems like if you vote for Fimian you must be a communist, or maybe a terrorist!

And if you had doubts about what the cards said, they recommended checking out the “real Keith Fimian” at a cleverly named Web site: TheRealFimian.com.

But then I noticed the Web site was sponsored by the DCCC too! Hmmm.  So I looked at those cards closer and found some really small print with Web sites for “Fimian’s organizations.” After checking
the sites, I learned one organization holds monthly meetings for businessmen and their wives to learn more about their faith and how to live it in their professional and personal lives. Like the importance of
doing good deeds and being good examples, and setting high standards in their businesses.

The other organization was for Christian men of any denomination who are willing to pray and sacrifice for the women in their lives. This involves fasting for 24 hours — on bread and water — one day every
month for the intentions of their wives, sisters, mothers, friends, and especially for women who have been hurt by men!  Dangerous organizations these!

I next checked organizations that support the Democratic candidate.  Like Planned Parenthood, which never met an unborn female child it liked, and which has a large site full of “interesting” information.
Like how it wrote a manual for developing sex-ed in PRE-SCHOOLS! Just what our culture needs, more sexualization of our kids. Values? Not!

These DCCC postcards are outrageous. The Democratic candidate should disavow them. I didn’t know anything about Keith Fimian but after investigating the organizations he’s in, I believe I’ll vote for
him.  Fimian isn’t against women, but I’m beginning to wonder if the DCCC Democrats are against faith.

willow:  if my intelligence is no more than Palin’s, then I gladly accept the comparison.  I don’t consider my qualfications fit to be VP.  At least you are admitting she too is ignorant.

No I haven’t talked to Palin.  She has spent most of her life jumping around from college to college (I guess she is so ignorant she needed 5 colleges and 6 yrs to do what most students do in 4- and her college was all without anydistinction - no one remembers her), going moose hunting, being soccer mom, PTA membership, NRA membership, fishing, riding sleds, all very much skills demanded by the work force. Mayor??? How many towns in the US are there with populations under 7,000 that have a mayor?  Think of the number of Republican VP candidates there must be out there. And soccer mom, and PTA member!!!  Wow!!! Think of the VP candidates. Also Palin has spent so much time, in foreigh affairs, watching the Big Diomede from the Little Diomed islands between the US and Russia.  And she is unavaible as a candidate by the Repubs - they know she is dumb.

Is 70 high or low in IQ, figures - I don’t track this. Or does this figure indicates she is ig

As for governor, from what I read her uneducagted husband, Todd, works with her as advisor or “boss” in governing.  Guess she needs help from a non-college grad, huh?

Remember:  Both Palin and I are ignorant.  You said it.  Can we add you to the list also?

phdee,
College graduate, mother, mayor, governor;
none of these is an experience in your book? All of these can be accomplished by a person with an IQ of 70? Sarah Palin is ignorant? Have you ever talked to her?
I haven’t, nor have I met you, but your posts indicate to me that you may be no more intelligent than she.

Poor ejben and willow. One doesn’t think McCain’s whoring around is relevant, another definds the dysfunctional Palin family - all of whom appear to be into sex in a big way.

Yet, back up to the Clinton presidency.  How did the Republican cominated congress handle the Clinton/Monica matter? ejben and willow don’t have the fortitude, strength, or courage to mention this.

The SNL skits on Palin were halarious - great comedy. (Did you see last night’s on Palin and Couric?)  Pali is so ignorant and so lacking in any type of experiece, other than moose hunting, that she makes such an excellent targetr for satire. Staun ch die-hard Republs like willow and ejben just can’t take exposing idiots like Palin. Like a good Republican, they’ll lie and tell you how open minded they are.  Ha ha.

Some of you Democrats, well maybe all of you know nothing about being fair.
The crap you send out is lies and thats all you know how to do,to hope the people will believe your junk.
Who cares if McCain got a divorce years ago?Why don’t you get all tha facts before running your mouth. And as far as Palin, who cares if the child was born 8 mos.after they were married!Have you ever heard of a baby being born at 8 mos., 7 mos. or even 4 mos.? Believe me I know,I have a brother that was born 4 mos. and he spent alot of time in the hospital and turned out to be a smart, intelligent person.Parents were married 15 yrs.
So this kind of tripe is for the birds that you Democrats want to spread.

willow, I guess I’m too dumb also as I struggle through life with just a high school diploma.

I’ve always said if Monica created the successes of the Clinton Administration, we need to send 10 more Monicas to Capital Hill.

Ray,
I’ll take John McCain. You can take Bill Clinton & Monica Lewinski, two - maybe more - for the price of one.
Keith Fimian has yet to answer my e-mail, guess he’s too busy with his religious duties. I have not & won’t vote for Dave Albo. He knows that, but he answers my e-mails & forthrightly defends his positions.
The latest Saturday Night Live skit about Sarah Palin tells me that I have made the right choice. The SNL crowd believes that anyone with a college degree - I guess I’m too smart to have gotten one - is too dumb to be Vice President. I guess that also disqualifies Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, etc.
The hate mongers of SNL, moveon.org, DailyKos, Huffington Post, Washington Post, New York Times, etc. are the people pulling the strings on Charlie Obama and I have no desire to live in a world according to them.

While the Democrats lead by perhaps misleading mailings, Republicans lead by actual example.

Take John McCain, Republican candidate for president, who left his wife and children to chase an adulterous woman about the country. There’s Republican Family Values for you. No postcard needed here.

Then on to the Palin family, where abstinence education is preached. Eldest son Track was born 8 months after Sarah and Todd “eloped” and their oldest daughter now plans to marry the father of her child “in the future”.

These are the Family Values demonstrated by our Republican candidates.
