If you are a true Christian and believe that abortion and same sex marriage is a sin you will be held accountable before God himself on how you vote in November.  This election is about good verses evil.
Christians, wake up and do the right thing and vote for McCain and Palin.

If you are a true Christian and believe God has a plan for us, you will accept the fact that Women’s Rights are a part of His plan, as is homosexuality.  With this in mind you should support His will and oppose those that would work against His plan.

God created people like Osama Bin Laden, Jeffery Dalmer, Adolf Hitler,
George W. Bush and Timothy McCeigh for a reason. It is not for us to question His reasons or His judgement, or pretend to know how God will judge us come judgement day.

A basic foundation of the Christian faith is that men are sinners and will sin. We also believe that God has the power to forgive us of our sins should we ask His forgiveness.

1 John 1:9 tells us “But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.“

So fellow Christians, feel free to support Barack Obama and vote for him on November 4th. If in the future you feel the need, you may ask God to forgive you for this vote.

But please remember the wait may be long. George W. Bush has eight years of murder, invasion, torture and criminal injustice against America to repent for first. This could take a while.

willow, I agree with you totally, and it wasn’t my point.  I guess I could have said, “Hey man, you just threw the baby out with the wash water”, however, it wouldn’t have been nearly as much fun.

Christians,
If God didn’t hold Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pot, Kim, etc., to account & God didn’t, you have nothing to worry about.
rafaelva,
I can’t vote for McCain/Palin because Palin doesn’t have an issue with same-sex marriage? I don’t have an issue either. If you don’t like same-sex marriages, don’t have one.

Fair enough.  If I don’t come back, start the debauchery without me.  wink

g&g;you go first and call back and let the rest of us know!  I’m sure we’ll have plenty more opportunties to be heathens.

Think, The only way to change the Pro-life/Choice issue in the country is via Constitutional Amentment. The Court through many interations has refused to reverse itself. Congress may not make a LAW to reverse the Court.  That leaves the issue in the hands of the 50 states, either by ratifying an amendment, or calling a convention.  Even if the House and Senate were to agree on an amendment, it must go to the States.  It never passes through the office of the President.  Read the Constitution, the Executive and Judicial Branches have no role in the Amendment process.
So deciding on who will be President based on an issue that can only be changed by a the single Legislative Process in which he has NO VETO POWERS, NO DECISION, is illogical.

I don’t give a hoot who you vote for but vote on issues that the President has the authority over.

By the same token, you can’t vote for McCain/Pailin because Pailin stated in agreement with Biden the other evening that she had no issue with same sex marriage.  She publicly stated it on National Television, she committed the Republican Ticket to it.

...but what if Mr. Neal is right?  How would we know if he wasn’t?

Not a sermon, just a thought.

Me:  God, I’m concerned about getting through the Pearly Gates.
God: Why’s that son?
Me: Well, my wife was fat, dumpy and no longer attractive. I found this hot, rich chick and had an adulterous affair with her. Dumped the wife and kids and married the tramp.
God: That ain’t so bad son. What else?
Me: Well, I support an invasion killing innocent people, but really, many of those are Muslim so does that count?  I also support torture of political prisoners, but only if the torture stops short of killing them.
God: Well son, all mankind was created in My image, and I go by many names throughout the world, so no, I don’t condone the killing of innocent people, but hey, the Ten Commandments were so many years ago and cheating on the wife and that whole Thou shall not kill or covert thy neighbor’s oil stuff is old hat now. I have new criteria for passing through My gates.
Me: One last thing God. I plan to vote for Senator Obama for president.
God: Oh there you go. That is the deal breaker. When you talk to Saint Peter, you will be denied access and sent to the everlasting hot zone We now call the Republican Party. May you burn there forever until you repent.
