Wrong how?  Did I disagree with you?  Yeah you are correct. Colin Powell was the first black Sec. State.  So?

I just don’t know what your point is.  You seem to be bragging about tokenism.

Colin Powell is a super intelligent, accomplished, experienced Vietnam veteran who got to be the Secretary of State for super moron, George W. Bush.  Powell deserved to be the GOP VP at the least. 

To top it off, he was used by the Republicans, dismissed by Cheny, and had his reputation destroyed.  We’re all supposed to applaud this?

Its not a big secret who Colin Powell supports for President.

Irishlad:  I well know my history of the South.  I was born and raised in the segregated South. If you read postings on this board, I have MANY TIMES written how the South became Republican. I even recall Strom Thurmond running as a Dixiecrat in the South, later to because an old Republican fossil, like McCain is becoming, in the Senate (and Thurmond knocked up a black female as a Southern white trash racist). 

I’ll repat the Democrat to Republican transition.  When the liberal US Supreme Court made its Brown vs, board decision - and some others thereafter -rather than integrate, the South went Republican, since that party was a racist party against civil rights.  TgenSouthern evangelicals joined in also, as conszervatives, i.e. devils. Even in 1967, Virginia was still fighting desegration, no inter=racial marriages, “massive resitance”, etc. - all of which were killed off as unconstitutional by the liberal courts. The racists in Manass and PWC have newver gotten over the civil rights, and like you are loaded with hate, bigotry, racism, like the BOCS resolution boys. And Va. was once heavily Demoocratic, so why the change?  It was RACISM!!!

Self responsibility is totall absent from Republican values. Just something for the wealthy and greedy, i.e. the money changers Christ cleared the temple of.  Abortion is a legal procedure that is personal only to the person carrying the child.  You don’t know what Christ would have done or said.  There weren’t any birth controls methods back then.  People don’t want kids becxause the Republicans have made the cost of living too expensive.  Some religions are against abortion because their church, as a tax exempt business, needs to keep customers coming. The motto or aim is:  “KEEP ‘EM POOR, KEEP ‘EM PREGNANT, AND KEEP
‘EM PRAYING FOR SOMETHING BETTER THAT NEVER SEEMS TO COME.“

As for minorities making progrss, it took LBJ, not raist Repubs to start making progress.  And it took killings, marches, arrest, and a country;s conscience upon seeing Southern “justice” in aCtion to get the ball rolling.

Your allegation about my historical knowledge of the South is hilarious and show how abysmally ignorant you are on the subject..

Jesus was not a liberal.  He was not in favor of baby killing and was for self responsibility. Libs are in favor of abortion and have a “do what you want” attitude.  As for history, that was in response to your line about the South being run by the GOP. If you know you history, your would know the Dems controlled the South up until about forty years ago. 

Did you hear the Dem congressman from Florida last week?  He said anyone who shoots moose are not for blacks and jews. Now, why would he say such a thing?  The news media and the Dems want to keep minorities under their control by pushing policies that undermine progress by minorities such as welfare and Afirmitive action. They feel minorities are not smart enough to do things on their own, and therefore need a helping hand.  That is wrong. The Dems see minorities only as votes and nothing more.  Funny it took a GOP President to have the first black Secreatary of State.

irishlad:  You are wrong about Jesus not being a liberal - there is no history to brush up oon that would disprove him not being a liberal.  I don’t recall the bible distinguishing between a so-called liberal or conservative.  Quote me a scripture please. Jes is the liberal - the devil is the conservative - if you look at today’s values of each.

How many blacks - or minorities - were at the RNC?  I heard someone say 34 - out of thousands in attendance. Minorities don’t appear to be flocking to the Repubs… Why is this?e

Godsaveus:  now that you have published what you claim is Obama’s record, why don’t you publish Palin’s record also/  I say you don’t have the courage, strength or fortitude to do so - without lying, omissions, and embellishments.

In posting her qualifications, please provide us the details on:

1.  What did she do as soccer mom, ice hockey mom, NRA membership, PTA membership, mother, hunter, sled driver, moose hunting, watching Russia, mayor, and governor that gives her experience and qualifications to be VP?  (This should really be good!!!)
