As we approach the end of the Ice Age, which started 11,000 years ago, global warming is no new phenomenon. The thing that concerns me is that while many of us are singing “God Bless America,”
many others are damning America while others are trying to take God out of America.
It seems to me, as the years go by, we have had more forest fires, floods, hurricanes, tornados, plagues, earthquakes and typhoons. Is someone trying to tell us something?
With the acceptance of same- sex marriage,we can now wonder who will become extinct first — the polar bear or a newborn child.
Perhaps those of us who care should sing a new song “God Save America” or just replace the word “bless” with the word “save” in the song we sing today..

Chris, you and I are at two opposite ends of the spectrum and I’m okay with that. It’s what makes the world an exciting place. If we were all football fans there would be no baseball. If we were all construction workers there would be no inventors to design or manufacturers to make us new tools. So our differences actually make the world a better place to live. And that is a good thing.

And thus Chris is why I support Border Security and a Documented Illegal Immigrant program that will permit those now working for under-the-counter wages to pay taxes in our payroll system and require an additional 7% Illegal Immigrant Tax to fund social and security programs that are directly related to them being here illegally here in the first place. You on board with that?

I agree with you Ron, man has been devolving for a while, but still the dominant species on earth. Ray have you seen the environmental damage caused by illegals as they cross the border? Those issues walk hand in hand if you think not, then you are just as blind on that issue. LOL. Chris Cummings

Remember the song “In the Year 2525”? We must be the best stewards of the environment while we’re here and leave the smallest footprint possible, yet we will leave footprints. As I mentioned earlier Chris, Chesapeake Bay clean up is a more important issue to me than immigration. But I also know it won’t happen overnight. Awareness comes before actions.

When I read your posts, I have to accept that mankind is already devolving. Please hope that apes do evolve into intelligent beings - there’s none on this planet right now.

Ah yes professor fear. What about the other half that feel that “Global Warming” is a an attempt by unscrupulous individuals to instill fear where none is needed. The Missippi floods, tornadoes and hurricanes happen. By the way where are all the hurricanes again? Tsunamis happen, earthquakes happen, it’s called nature or natural selection. They will continue to happen. Of course with everyone filming them now of course more will be reported. LOL. Why do electric cars have such poor gas mileage and need 5-10000$ replacement batteries. How come they don’t go to far on a charge? How come they have poor acceleration? How come volcanoes and cows make more greenhouse gases then other sources? As confirmed by scientists. Will the earth boil over? Or turn into a giant iceball after getting kicked out of orbit, or hit by a comet; asteroid; meteorite? Or will mankind destroy itself with war? Or destroy itself with peace< ethanol is accelerating “Global warming” or “Global Cooling”. Remember the 70’s and how cold it was? Turns out it wasn’t so cold but it was? Will the monkeys take over like in the “Planet of the Apes? Or will man just devolve??? Will gas keep going up? Or will some genius make it easy for any car to run on garbage or air? Or hydrogen for that matter. Will we still be able to breathe the air come next century? Or will the air be so clean that everyone has altitude sickness? Will we be victims or successes due to our experiments? Will God send a sign to fix our Global Cooling or Global Warming problem or is it just plain Climate Change? What’s the new fear of the moment? imagine the number of gays in indonesia where God smelt 225,000 with the tsunami. gays in china where God sent forth an earthquake killing over 10,000 to show His displeasure and i can only imagine how many gays live in iraq where God unleashd george w bush killing over 500,000 iraq citizens. also a few thousand americans as our wake up call. repent gov schwarzngger (R) repent.

Perhaps God is unhappy with the lack of tolerance for all his children shown by those who carry His book and claim to be His most devote servant. I’m sure before it rained for 40 days and 40 nights God gave plenty of signs He was not happy with mankind. All His children are created for His purpose and it is not for us to question what that purpose is.

Ah yes - gays are causing forest fires, floods, hurricanes, tornados, plagues, earthquakes and typhoons.
We already have “Pastor” John Hagee, endorser of Republican candidate John McCain, claiming that New Orleans was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina because they held a gay pride parade a few days previous. No word on why God chose to destroy 300 miles of coastline in addition to New Orleans - but I’m sure “Pastor” John Hagee knew there was a good reason.
Professor Hansen, the NASA climatologist who has been one of the world’s leading scientists on global climate change for more than 20 years, now estimates we have about one (1) year to start reducing CO2 before we no longer have the chance to reverse global warming. According to Prof Hansen effects of climate change will be felt by most of us living right now - not our great-great grandchildren.
