I feel sorrow for the D.C. Madam.
I know prostitution is wrong.
Her black book she left behind.
I wonder if there is a grieving John.
As long as men are looking,
can’t blame the Madam for booking.
Escort Service? Call it what you may.
Suicide is too high a price to pay.
Left a grieving Mother in shock and despair,
found her daughter hanging.
Does anybody care?
There is a double standard,
in society, it’s true.
For all the Johns still out there,
madam’s death will haunt you

“Five more years of Bush” - qould be the result of anyone who votes for McCain.. Since the Bush political campaign alleged McCain had mental problems (i.e. crazy), does this still hold? And does Bush have all his marbles? Can wew assume McCain voters are also mentally ill?

cobra, I think those that have lost family members in Iraq would not consider my comments ‘little political shots’ (inferring cheap shots). I think our troops and their families have paid a very high price to start and fight in a Civil War and feel my kids and grandkids will also pay a high price for generations to come for the financial waste and loss of stature in the world’s eyes caused by the Bush Administration. To support President Bush makes sense you also support John W. McBush as your presidential choice. Alas, I too will vote for my third choice as soon-to-be Senator Mark Warner was my first choice. Oh well, maybe next election. And think of all the Mexican border security and ICE funding we would have if not spending 2 billion in Iraq every week - with no end in sight. Makes one wistful for Bill Clinton and the balanced budget days ...

Kinda like Monica, eh cobra. 50 some million spent on a Grand Jury to trash a political opponent for what came down to the same charge as Libby - lying to a Grand Jury. These are all political endeavors by one side or the other, not based on the merit of the case. When your bread is getting buttered, you clap and shout. When the other side butters their bread we protest the process. I guess all is fair in love, war and politics! And not to pick on Mr. Cheney, but I sure would like to know who he met with and what they discussed in shaping our Bush Administration Oil Policy .... You can bet truck drivers and daily commuters weren’t invited to share the table with Exxon and Enron.

cobra,
I find myself somewhat in agreement with you. Sandy Burger should have gone to jail,
Scooter Libby should not even have gone to trial. At my age, I might be tried for perjury for a conversation I had ten minutes ago.
The Valerie Plame thing is a bit iffy. Some people think that all CIA employees are covert. That is far from being true, but the lives of people in countries where we have a lot of enemies - which doesn’t leave out many countries - can be in jeopardy if they are known to have had contact with people later identified as CIA employees. This liberal has gotten to Karl Rove. I find his commentary, via Fox News Channel, to be very interesting & informative.
I’m also with you in November. Obama is still wet behind the ears, just hearing Hilary laugh turns me off, & and anyone who is not liked by Ann Coulter & Rush Limbaugh is just fine with me. Besides, I’m older than McCain.

Easy Ray,
if the former Clinton Cabinet Member Sandy Burglar can steal documents from the national archives by stuffing them down his pants and hiding them outside under a construction trailer to hide the facts that Clinton did nothing about terrorism then Scooter Libby should not go to jail for not remembering a conversation that he had with Tim Russet who also could not recall in his first day of testimony but was able to remember it the second day, I would call it even. Dozens of people including Democrats were on record as stating that Libby had impeccable moral character. That whole issue was about nothing. Valerie Flame was not a covert operative and her husband was a political hack plain and simple. Libs have been trying since day one to try and get to Cheney, Rove & Busch so when this came up they saw their opportunity. No one got convicted of any crime except Libby. That’s what grand juries do these days. They can’t get you for the actual crime so they try and stump you up during questioning and they charge you for perjury for not recalling a conversation 3 years earlier. Man you are one bitter liberal Ray Williams. I notice your little political shots all the time. Hate to say it but you guys will loose again this November as you put up candidates that can not hold a prayer to John McCain who was my third choice but he still is better then Clinton or Obama.

The D.C. Madam lacked that which she accused one of her “employees” of lacking &, so, like that employee, she committed suicide.
She also lacked the integrity to admit that she was again doing that for which she had previously been imprisoned.
Because there is a market does not mean one must sell.

At the top of the list is Scooter Libby, who got off Scot-free after a pardon by President Bush with no jail time for his crimes against this nation. If only the Madam was part of the good ol’ boy network, she could of paid a small fine and gone about her life.
