I wanted to tell you a story. People are going too fast. They need to slow down and enjoy the beauty there is to offer. One day stuck in traffic in Woodbridge, many windows were down and we all were at a
dead stop. I looked to my right at the Occoquan Bridge and it was back to back traffic also.

But to my surprise a large bird (Osprey) landed a few feet away from the bridge. She or he had a fish in her mouth and pulled it apart and fed her tiny babies.

So every day I slowed down at that point on the bridge and saw the babies grow. I had my husband drop me off at the spot and took pictures. We both enjoyed watching them get bigger and finally leave
the nest. Sometimes we see one on top of the nest. We also drive around Lorton and see the deer, fox and skunk.

If people would just realize there is beauty right under their nose. Take the time to slow down and enjoy it. As they were driving home to be with their family, a family grew up right before their eyes.
Thanks for listening.
