Unlike Keith’s opponent, Keith Fimian is not a career politician and he is not a member of the political establishment. While Keith’s opponent was busy mismanaging Fairfax County finances for more
than five years, Keith fimian was busy managing a thriving small business.

Although I live in Prince William County, I was a productive worker in Fairfax County for more than 10 years. I recently lost my job due to budget constraints!

I believe in the American dream, this is why I decided to further my education so that I can make a difference in our communities and my family. I graduated from college in 2006 with honors with a
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, but to my dismay I am having a hard time securing new employment. In order to secure Virginia’s future and to maintain a viable workforce where educated, skilled
and creative people will be attracted to the area WE MUST put Virginians back to work!

Keith Fimian will fight to preserve Virginia’s prosperity in a time of economic uncertainty, he knows what it takes to create jobs, and he has a 22-year record to prove it. A vote for Keith Fimian is a vote for
personal freedom and a responsible government!

willow, I think the word you’re looking for is LEADERSHIP - and leadership does belong to the President.  The President brings his agenda to congress, spells out his case (we hope with the truth and not the Bush Lies) and THEN the check and balance of our system begins.

President Bush’s agenda, supported by John McCain 95% of the time, was deregulation and “let the market set the course”. This agenda has been a failure, and therefore should not be rewarded with 4 more years.

Taking a snap shot on a single issue, which is not failing because cooler heads prevailed, was the plan to let citizens invest in their own Social Security accounts. Based on all you said about $5 lattes, this is a good reason to maintain status quo. McCain aligned himself with Bush on this issue. This shows questionable judgement and therefore, in this snap shot, confirms my reasons to vote for Obama.

Ray,
The economy doesn’t belong to George Bush.
It belongs to you me the people who lied on loan applications; the people who paid
5 bucks a day for lattes, 5 days a week & 15 bucks on movies every weekend, while putting no money in safe investments; and those of us who did.
Bush is not responsible for the fact that the Congress - which makes the laws - failed to properly regulate. Yes, the President may not wish to regulate, but the final authority & responsibility belongs to Congress. Where have they been?

And yet, Ray, we are still doing better than the European Union where the socialist, Marxist policies favored by Sen. Obama & company have been in place for decades.
This is from Stuart Varney, who must be pretty smart as he has made a ton of money
with his knowledge of the world’s economy.

Ms. Martin has made a stong case AGAINST politicans with limited experience. All her woes can be attributed to the misunderstanding of how the economy works by George W. Bush. Job loss to lack of new job creation is placed squarely on the failures of the Bush Administration. From budget surplus to record deficit, see George W. Bush and those that support his programs ... such as John McCain. The question remains: Are you better off today than you were 8 years ago? In Ms. Martin’s case - it appears the answer is NO.
