Foreclosures and evictions in PWC

Recently, I was at the county landfill and I witnessed three separate trucks, all pulling huge “cage” trailers, dumping the contents of entire households.
I asked one of the truckers if his load was the result of a foreclosure or eviction, and he said yes.
In fact, he was hired to trash the contents of three more houses that day.
Is there any thought of using funds to finance or fix up some of the simpler of the foreclosed houses, and using them, instead of building (for example) new ‘habitat’ houses?
It seems a shame for decent empty houses to be unoccupied when there is such a need.
A bigger shame is our society emphasizing the protection of the investment banks instead of people.
Big business abhors government interference, but when they are in trouble, demand bailout.
It may indeed be simply “all about the money,” and power. The people seem to be short on both.

phdee We all know you are an illegal immigrant supporter and the blindness of your eyes do not let you see the reality. You speak with ignorance of the facts. The housing crisis is all over the country Las Vegas is the number one in foreclosures. If what you say, it is true probably the PWC resolution is taken effect in Las Vegas too.

Besides, there have been some anti -immigrant postings by their weirdos praising the virtues of a “ghost town”.
Wouldn’t want to disturb the beauty and tranquility of tall grass, boarded up houses, roofs falling in, etc. would you? After all, they’re Saving Manassas. The resolution is “Helping” do that.
