Two news stories published this week: today Cheryl Chumley’s report on housing sales in Prince William being optimistic and Bennie Scarton’s report on a foreclosure seminar, at which time it was
reported that over the next two years there may be as many as 100,000 foreclosures in Northern Virginia and that most would be in Prince William County.

A drive through of Prince William County would indicate that sales report is not an indicator of how many vacant houses now exist in PWC.

If this does not show evidence, just ask any local banker.

Why would it be disastrous with this surge in house buying in PWC? Since obviously that means increased tax revenue for the county, especially when you consider the slight rise in the property tax recently. LOL Chris Cummings

Let’s say we all sell our homes for 50,000, then the headlines could read ‘Sale Homes in PWC Skyrocket’! But when you find out the homes have been selling dirt cheap - 3 times lower than Northern Virginia in general, and dragging real estate assessments down with each new sale.  It’s not something to proud of and will be disastrous next budget cycle.

Yet as housing indicators have shown the past two quarters PWC has had the highest percentage of house sales of the local jurisdictions<Metro area>. Hmmm me thinks the Resolution is working yet again combined with a downturning economy to chase out the illegal alien scumbags and apparently their illegal alien apologist scumbag family and friends. LOL Chris Cummings
