Get the hint that mother nature gives

Mother nature seems to be sending us a message with all the eruptions, tsunamis, hurricanes and earthquakes. The message is that we, 6.5 billion people, are guests here on earth and we don’t own the place.

We are stewards, only guests, and if we continue to screw up the environment, we may be asked to move and go elsewhere.  Considering that we have no place else to go, the only option is to clean up our messes or we may be found digging ourselves out of our basements if we are still alive.

I don’t know how many people in responsible places in government are getting this message, but if the past gives us a clue, there will be people scoffing at mother nature because financially it may cost them a great deal of money.

How much is your life worth, or is that not on our debit, credit balance sheet? Tempus fugit since there may be no tomorrow.

Unfortunately we have chosen the caliber of people for public office with a quid pro quo mentality.

How much quid pro quo before we all become extinct?

There was an earthquake once in the midwest that literally leveled every stucture throughout the region, spanning several states. this earthquake is do to strike again. there is a fault line off the coast of seattle that is due to pop and is predicted to create a title wave that would make the indonesia tsunami look like a ripple. there is a volcano in yellowstone that will kill everything in a tristate region upon eruption and then devastate the entire eastern US and much of europe. Mother nature ALWAYS asks it’s guests to leave eventually whether you wipe your feet at the door or not. but I do agree, humans are pretty disrespectful to the planet that gives us a home.

We should do what we can to lessen our effect on our environment, but we should remain rational.
Volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes & massive, storm generated, forest fires were happening before our ancestors came upon the scene.
Obviously, our ancestors could not prevent those natural events. Neither can we, but they survived and, if we don’t panic, we shall survive; until that event that the earth itself will not survive.
