CJ was murdered at the hands of MS-13 18 months ago.
We grieve him daily. CJ is 23 years old.

Manassas, you are so correct. If all illegals were kept out of our country, their crimes would never happen. If all drunk drivers were denied alcohol, then there would be no drunk driving accidents. If all guns were banned and confiscated, then armed murders would never take place. If we took the letters off keyboards, hackers could not invade computer systems. If the punks that crossed paths with CJ had been brought up in strong family environment, this tragedy might not have happened. So what do you suggest as the solution? Does denying drivers licenses and chasing people out of ESOL classes solve this issue, or should we focus on securing the border and documenting those that currently live here?

Ms. Angelos,
You are in many people’s thoughts and prayers. You are so right. Crime is crime, but if ILLEGALS were not in our country, the crimes they commit would never have happened. I will never understand why anyone can’t see that.
raywilliams and phdee- If someone you loved was brutally murdered by illegal aliens I bet you would change your tune. The relevance of the illegal issue is described above!

My grief does not care who killed my son.My grief does not care that 4 out of the 5 arrested and convicted are illegals, but I do!
Crime is crime you’re right, however
the last face my son saw was an evil face that had no right to be in our country in the first place. He suffered
at the hands of monsters for no reason!
Damn straight our government needs to step up to the plate and secure our borders against illegal aliens. What are they thinking? I should sue the United States Government!
My son has would be still be alive today! Yes, I am angry and I am heartbroken.

doright, crime is crime and should be attended to as such. In this case, there is no need in your comments to add the zing about illegal immigrants. This crime was not committed because they may or may not be illegal, but because they are simple punk thugs. They should not be “waiting to be deported” but waiting for the clock to tick down to their final hour. To add the cheap shot is being disrespectful to Mrs. Angelos in her grief. Whether it is one illegal taken off the street, one drunk driver or one James Earl Ray our police focus should be on stopping crime. How many heinous crimes are being committed while PWC police fill out ICE paperwork? Crime does not know borders, bringing us back to the point our security starts with border security, not with Corey taking someones library card away.

If the illegal immigrant resolution has deterred one illegal criminal alien or gang member from reeking havoc on our citizens, than the resolution has served its intended purpose.

First of all I am not a member of HSM. Secondly, if you knew anything about the Angelos case, at least one of the suspects is an illegal alien waitng to be deported after he serves his time.

Let’s not forget the facts of this case. Those that killed Angelos had come to his house to buy drugs. When he stated that he did not have any they threw a rock through his back window. Instead of calling the police, Angelos went out for vengeance which resulted in his death at the hands of other criminals.
