Intelligent people for Obama and Biden

Our economy is in big trouble. There were 84,000 jobs lost in August. Those with jobs find that their income has been stagnant since Mr. Bush took office. One out of nine mortgages is in arrears.
Investments for the average citizen have tanked. Inflation has taken hold thanks to the high price of oil and food.
The federal government has had to bail out, with taxpayer money, many Wall Street financial institutions.
The national deficit is beyond belief: $483 billion. We are spending $5 billion a month on the neverending war in Iraq. The congressional budget analysts say that the next president is likely to face a deficit
of over $500 billion. The next president should have the intelligence to combat this disastrous downward spiral. Yet, Senator McCain says, “I don’t understand economics as well as I should.” I doubt he
understands anything as well as he should. He graduated number 484 out of 489 in his class. He almost did not graduate at all, but having a father and grandfather who were admirals had much to do with
getting him through school and advancing his career. Yes, he was a war hero, and we admire him for it, but that does not indicate that he has the intelligence to be a good president.
Senator Barack Obama does understand economics, as well as the many other problems we face. Read his book “Audacity of Hope” and you will become convinced that he is the one who can address
and solve our country’s problems with understanding and competence. Senator McCain’s vice presidential pick, Governor Palin, sneered at and ridiculed Senator Obama for writing books. If she could,
she would ban books she doesn’t like, as well as belittling them, as she tried to do when she was mayor of little Wasilla, Alaska. The good people of Wasilla prevented her from firing the librarian who
refused to ban books. Fortunately, there are intelligent people in our country who know how to uphold democratic principles. If you are one of them, you will vote for Barack Obama and Joseph Biden.

Why is it that anti-American liberals lie and cheat? Why is it that Democrats have to sign up dead people to vote? Is it because without cheating they can’t win? Talk about stupid.

“I provided you enough gaffes, for a week. “
Maybe you have? But what you said in your post was that Senator Biden makes AT LEAST ONE gaffe EVERY SINGLE DAY.
You should be able to back up what you write. You should be able to write:
9/1/08 - Sen Biden did x.
9/2/08 - Sen Biden said such and such
9/3/08 - Sen Biden messed up this
All I want to see is seven consecutive days, and I will admit that you are correct.
Apparantly you can’t do that, so that pretty much makes you a liar.
Personally I would have just said, “Ok maybe I exaggerrated in my original post.“ What is it with Republicans that they can never admit to being wrong? They always want to double down on stupidity.
Everybody is wrong sometimes. The smart person can just admit it and work to correct the mistake.

JVA,
I provided you enough gaffes, for a week. I can’t help it that you are in the bag for Obama and Biden and can’t handle the truth. You libs like to think you have a corner on smarts reality says otherwise. Even the article from the NYT stated a day hardly passes that Biden does make a gaffe. I’m hardly the one talking out of his backside.
Besides, are you not the poster who stated they did not like personal attacks and lies? Yet, this letter writer engages in the very tactics.

Yeah I get it. Biden is known for sticking his foot in his mouth on occasion. Nobody is debating that.
Your statement was that Biden makes AT LEAST one gaffe EVERY SINGLE DAY. What I would like to see is some evidence backing up your statement. Please provide us all seven consecutive dates with a Biden gaffe listed next to each one.
If you just want to post more articles from Newsweek and NYT, I’ll just assume that you can’t actually back up your statement, and you are just completely talking out of your backside.
You made the statement, smart guy. You can either back it up with facts or you can’t.

jva,
Even the liberal rag newsweek makes fun of their fellow liberal. Read and weep.

Though, I don’t think this covers his “in 1929 FDR came on TV” or him asking a crippled man to stand up. Or his statement that McCain’s health care plan would lead to the largest tax hike in American history.

“Joe Biden makes at least one gaffe a day, by any measure that does not support a great mind. “
Irishlad, can you please list ten gaffes on ten consecutive days for us? It should be pretty easy for you if Sen. Biden really makes AT LEAST one gaffe a day.
Start with any day you like, list the date and the gaffe.
Thanks. I look forward to reading it.
