More letters of substance please

Generally speaking I hope the newspaper starts printing letters that contain more substance than the ones that have been printed lately. Robert Moeller’s letter to the editor moaning and whining about his
divorce and visitation time was a bit hideous and did not belong in this paper.

As a favor to the people who pay for this paper, as the election nears, can the editor please print letters that have meaning or provoke thought and insight?

I am not a rocket scientist, but here are a few topics that don’t contain personal drama to ponder…

Why are our tax dollars building new schools when all these houses are foreclosed and empty?

Did you ever wonder why MRSA did not become prevalent until Hurricane Katrina affected several states where people could wash or clean themselves or items with sterile water?

How About the Salmonella and e-coli outbreaks in the tomato, spinach, lettuce, farms and the migrants that work there. There is a REASON people say not to drink water in our neighboring foreign
countries?

And finally if there was oil in Mexico to be drilled like there is/was in Texas, would the illegals go back voluntarily? Would there be a sign at the borders saying “jobs in Mexico” workers who work there?
These are just questions to provoke thought, not based on fact.

The point of this letter was to stir up thought on different subject matters. It was highly offensive that the paper thought Mr. Moeller’s problems were printable. His letters every two weeks generally are
insulting or assaultive to someone or something.

Hey Nicky,
If Insidenova would ensure that their own Editorial Board would write articles with some substance then it would be a stretch to think they would desire the same from the General Public. I wish there was an alternative to this paper. Their coverage of the illegal immigration issue in PW County was so biased it was almost laughable. I believe the get their talking points directly from the Washington Compost.

Topics that don’t contain personal drama to ponder?
Building new schools when so many homes are in foreclosure: Right. Where is the person drama when one has just lost one’s home, has a week to find a new home, new school, etc., & doesn’t have enough money to cover moving costs?
Despite being one of the most socially divided counties in the nation & having 40 percent of all foreclosures in Virginia, Prince William County is booming and all of it’s schools will be overflowing with students in September. Don’t take my word, ask Corey Stewart.
MRSA? Haven’t heard a lot about a major increase in that lately.
Salmonella, e-coli & migrant workers. Don’t drink the water in our neighboring countries. Right. Don’t drink the water in Canada.
If there was oil in Mexico to be drilled. There is oil “to be drilled” in Mexico, it has been “drilled” for many years. Mexico is a major supplier of oil to the U.S. The oil industry simply doesn’t provide enough jobs & Mexican labor is not cheap enough to compete with Asia.
