I work in Information Technology and have seen a tremendous increase in the offshoring of American jobs over the past couple of years that is frightening!

At first, it was just the call centers that were offshored to India, Philippines, Argentina, etc., but now it’s the programmer, developer and other support positions who are losing their jobs across all the
major corporations.

I would estimate tens of thousands of American jobs are being lost annually, and yet you never hear a word about it in the news media’s.

If Americans and their elected officials don’t start speaking up to stop this HORRIFIC trend, you will see A LOT more foreclosures because all the good paying jobs in America are drying up!

This happens across America in all fields BECAUSE the American consumer wants CHEAP. Blue jeans, tennis shoes, software development, TVs, call centers - we don’t care who loses their jobs as long as we save a buck. Until the consumers of this country support a BUY AMERICA way of life we will continue our slide towards becoming a nation of service workers.
