Many are unable to see through the “illegal” aspect since the Constitution speaks for them. They are those that wish “We the People” still meant “We the ‘White’ People.”
I understand being an alien means being “illegal” in your book, but we come in peace. Most of that violence you speak of is Hispanic v. Hispanic. Being a “law-abiding” Hispanic does not make you any better than any illegal, no matter how much you sell out and think waving an American flag gives you membership to their club.
Deny it, but racism has been the reason for many to speak against illegal immigration. To all of those “closet racists,” please stop making excuses for your racism. You say we’re diseased, but it was the white race, specifically the English and Spanish, that were infected with syphilis and smallpox, killing off the Native Americans, Aztecs and Mayans.
This brown skin makes us suspects just like the Japanese-Americans during World War II. Notice that no other race was forced into internment camps, since those European enemies were white. Even if today’s Europeans with visas overstay their welcome, they will never be seen as illegal, even if their backs are wetter than ours. Mexican immigrants have come and gone for generations and we’re not going to let any wall, river, or racist stop us.
How hypocritical to ask “illegals” to assimilate into this society when you will not be accepting of them. They may never be accepted, but their kids are learning English at phenomenal rates, therefore assimilating. I agree American English should be the national language, but Mexican Spanish comes next at number two.
What Americans need to do is take advantage of this education system, and instead of worrying about others, worry about themselves. Because as you worry and complain about lost tax money, we’re busy making cash money.

I am sorry, but your analogy about Americans is plain wrong.
Americans for the most part are very giving and welcoming.
However, when demands are made upon legal citizens from those who willy nilly cross the borders and want all of the perks instead of standing in line to get them, then I get very annoyed, sir.
Get rid of your activist groups such as La Raza and Mexicans Without Borders, and stop hiring lawyers who want to make a quick buck representing you, and maybe you might be welcomed.
It is a process…just like any other country. Go at it the correct way, and I will welcome you with open arms. Call me a racist or bigot, then I doubt that you truly want to be an American.
It is the rule of law in every country that counts. Unfortunately, our elected officials are spineless for the most part…and because of this, you just may get everything you demand.

I disagree. this issue is not race, it is legal vs illegal. people from all over the world are waiting in line to come into our country lawfully. It is impossible for our LEGAL system to deal with people of ILLEGAL status of any nationality. Mexico does not have open borders. It is my understanding that mexico keeps a tight reighn on their southern border. I also feel that the US Government and the citizens of Mexico should push the Mexican government to improve their nation for all of their people. Mexico has Oil, farmlands, coast lines, tourism etc. their is no reason for Mexico not to be a prosperous place for their citizens. Canada does not let US citizens freely cross into their country. Why do the current illegals of any nation that are in our country now feel that our country’s laws should be any different than any other country just to suit their personal desires ? Should we also now open the gates and let in 20 million chinese, 20 million russians and so on or does Mr Pineda want special priveledges only for his particular group ? If we open the gates to china, then the chinese language would be in line for the #2 language, correct ? How does Mr Pineda feel about people from any country coming to the US just to take advantage of our social systems ?

Your status as an alien has nothing to don with whether I perceive you as illegal. It has everything to do with the answer to the following question: When you entered this country, did you do it through the proper legal procedure, or did you commit a felony by bypassing the system? I don’t care what color your skin is. I only care if you broke the law.

It about time.Yep you advoid you tax money here to send to another countery Just go back to the countery you suport if here great join the others but do it
the way the Laws say to do it, your
people v same people does not wash, just look at the court record.
I light of less pay to have someone work on jobs that other feel will not get done, to them there wrong. Day labor force in Manassas travel 40 miles sometimes to do what other feel the need more than 20.00 an hour. The poor person did not have a chance till this was passed, I also see we need to give the Police 20 more Man-power in the Next 6 months’ to 3 years.
The Killing of the poor taxi man the family that lost a father and income is another reason to keep the heat up on who hires or defends throw that do harm, and live here illegal and are illegal document offenders.
About this….(The final two points attempt to address concerns expressed by some residents and law enforcement officials that the policy will deter crime victims and witnesses from coming forward and could result in racial profiling.
“Police officers will protect crime victims and cooperative witnesses – regardless of their immigration status,” the news release states. “Police officers will not detain or arrest individuals based on their national origin, race, religion or creed. In addition to being morally wrong, racial profiling is a violation of federal law as well as existing police department policy.”)
I really do not care if you here as illegal document or time up when you should have left the USA. That’s just your problem Police should not protect Know illegal document person. I feel we need to send the group of person that entered the USA. To the war Zone and say you want to work and rebuild a country here the one for you we have that need the most help.
