Reynolds doesn’t want illegal alien assimilation

I find it truly ironic that Gregg Reynolds hates the assimilation of illegal aliens and uses the guise of “immigrant” to shed a hateful euphemism towards legitimate and legal immigrants.

The hate that Mr. Reynolds broadcasts bi-monthly at citizens’ times, glorifying the downtrodden nature and servitude of illegal aliens is also very spiteful.

The narcissistic tone of Mr. Reynolds’ letters and speeches brings to question what he and other illegal alien apologists are really out for — attention for themselves at the expense of others.

It’s this attention they seek for themselves that in most cases fills a serious void they have within. It’s a void so full of hate towards what is clear and righteous, they often seek critical mass with other
hateful groups to basically make themselves feel whole.

There is nothing more clear and righteous than for an individual to assimilate into the fabric of this great country through the legal means availed by so many others.

It’s a direct slap in the face towards every immigrant that did it legally to negate their sacrifices for the sake of affording what is clearly illegal any sort of legitimacy.

Assimilation in itself brings a sense of righteousness to the threshold. It brings an awakening to the rule of law and a clearer picture of the opportunities within.

The last thing Mr. Reynolds and his ilk want is for illegal aliens to become whole and part of America. If this happens, they’ll have nothing left to stand on.

“....get the jest of the book.“

I’m gonna have to check out this book, and find out what’s so funny!  I like a good joke as much as the next guy!

How many times has Jacobsen wrapped himself in the flag and touted his experience as an officer of Marines to lend some gravitas to his opinion pieces?

Now that same position by another veteran is scoffed at?

Sounds hypocritical to me.

RonC, I supported Corey because he was not Sharon Pandak ! I sure didn’t think Corey was the answer but I KNEW Sharon was not the answer by her miserable stint as County Attorney. In America, we often vote against those we don’t like, not for those we do.

Ray,
Living in a hand-me-down world, with 4 sisters & a brother, I learned those lessons before I arrived at kindergarten age.
I did without so my sisters would not have to do without. In those times, that was what it meant to be a “man”.
Sadly, the meaning of that word has changed.

Willow703,

I agree with you that Christians, Muslims, and just about any other “religious” group thinking they know what’s best for us - and trying to rig our laws to enforce their opinions - is a scary thought.

However I disagree that Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, and even Anarchists thinking they know what’s best for us is scary.  They’re politicians, and the job of any politician is to tell us voters what they think is best for us.  It’s our job as voters to elect into public office the ones we agree with and then live with the results.

For example, PWC is stuck with Cory Stewart because enough people last election time thought he had great plans for our county.  I have to wonder now that programs such as the Senior Center are being canceled, land-use recommendations from our planning board are being ignored in favor of unchecked inappropriate development, and PWC is becoming known nationwide as a haven for nativists; just how many Stewart voters are having second thoughts?

willow703, the title of the book is “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten” by Robert Fulghum. You can Google the title and get the jest of the book. Play fair, be nice, share your things, take a nap, etc. Be nice if we got a copy for all the posters here <wink, wink>.

Mr. Molleur,

Why a personal attack on a good and decent person?  I don’t even think you have the right person to attack, especially if you are speaking of the gentleman who regularly speaks at the BOCS meetings.

You have made several vulgar remarks about various supervisors both in Prince William County and other local jurisdictions.  Why?

raywilliams,
Everything you need to know about life you learned in kindergarten?
When I started school in 1942, the town I lived in didn’t have a kindergarten.
Thank you so much, I now know why I don’t have a clue.

Mr. Jacobsen,
So, you think that Veterans thinking they know “what is right for the rest of us” is a scary thought?
Christians think they know “what is right for the rest of us”. Is that a scary thought? What about Muslim thinking about “what is right”? Is that scary?
Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, Anarchists, whose thinking that they know “what is right for the rest of us” doesn’t scare you?

raywilliams, you couldn’t have said it better! everyone is out for bashing at each other with comments against and in favor of illegal immigration but no one comes with a clear plan, the feds have not been able to fix this immigration mess for years, what C. Stewart and his supporters think? that they have the right formula to extinct illegal immigration? please. years back immigration was not an issue, why now? simply because somebody had the brightest idea of “saving all the counties” from what so called, invasion of illegal immigrants, and C. Stewart followed the same path as other counties did, and what is the result? nothing but a promotion of racism and hatred among communities. what a success! everyone is crying out to deport every illegal allien but no one wants to pay for it. I imagine what would be like if every illegal individual ( not including those that commit crimes) are given the chance to be part of the greates nation in the world or if every one of them learn English and integrates to the American society I will bet my brown skin that all this hatemongers would have to be looking for another job because in politics there would be no room for them!
