Have we forgotten? The seventh anniversary of 9/11 is fast approaching. Have we forgotten the people who lost their lives on that day?
In the days and weeks following that awful day we seemed to treat each other differently, now we have gone back to being aloof. I ask you to join me in remembering the people who lost their lives on that
day. Do something in remembrance of the heroes who gave their lives that day by running into those buildings while others ran out, or who fought for their lives on that plane over Shanksville, Pa. Give
back to someone.

Have we forgotten Hurricane Katrina?
Yesterday, August 29, was the third anniversary of loosing a once great American city, and the destruction of 300 miles of the Gulf Coast. Our best count is that about 1600 were killed in a few short hours. Thousands of people were displaced, with many still not able to return back to their homes. Thousands are still living in “temporary” shelters, unable to finance the rebuilding of their homes.
I don’t remember any remembrance ceremonies yesterday.
