Bad news if Republicans win the presidential election: Inexperience is a heartbeat away from being commander-in-chief.

I keep wondering;  just what executive experience does Senator McCain have to offer?  He’s never even been in command of a navy ship or aircraft squadron, let alone a local, state, or federal government agency.

ejben, I hope you’re right. I am so puzzled as to why President Bush took his eye off America and decided to dabble in Iraq. Think of what $2 billion a week could do for our border security issues, traffic, energy concerns, national debt, housing crisis, failing infrastructure ...

Bush gets bored with day to day life here and decides to go play in the quicksand. Whether Obama or McCain, America will be a better place. Notice how by candidates are running on a platform of “change”. Amazing that even the Maverick acknowledges the failures of the Bush Administration and the need to change policies.

Don’t worry Ray ,it will not be the same with McCain and Palin. We will see a great team working together and our country will get on track.
We will see the American citizen start getting attention, instead of those outside of the US.
Hopefully we will see our Laws enforced and get back what we have lost.

What?! All of the experience & inexperience in the White House for the past eight years hasn’t been great?

Mr. Thornton:

Governor Palin has more executive experience than Senator Obama that is a fact.

Once the euphoria ends with Obama’s nomination, Americans will see that “Hope is not a Strategy.“

When Senator Obama was questioned about his lack of executive experience, his response was that he is running a presidential campaign with a large amount of money coming in, as if running a heavily funded campaign correlates to the executive experience Governor Palin has running a state government.

What executive orders or legislation have been introduced by Senator Obama?

Democrats have already attacked Governor Palin’s speech writer.  At least we know who wrote Governor Palin’s speech, unlike Senator Biden who has been accused of plagiarism on two occasions, costing his presidential bid in 1988!

Funny how just a few weeks ago Republicans were blasting Tim Kaine - former mayor or Richmond and current Virginia governor - as “too inexperenced” to be vice president. Then John McSame picks an absolute unknown mayor from a tiny town and suddenly she has qualifications to be our next president. Senator Obama showed wisdom and judgement in selecting Joe Biden.  This country cannot afford four more years of Bushism.

Of course, one man’s experienced candidate is another man’s corrupt Washington insider and vice versa. Those of us who have decided whom we are voting for are going to doublethink our way into interpreting everything favorably for our candidate.
