It is wonderful that so many taxpaying citizens are “speaking out.” Local government for so long has seemed to conclude “what is best for us” and even with committee inputs and expensive surveys (some from the University of Virginia and becoming so familiar with County Staff it “wants”to call executive by first name.)
As we all know, as government grows, so does staff salaries.
It is so unfortunate that some members of the Board of County Supervisors seems to state that “political interest on state level,”when in fact, Mr. Principi, Mr. Stewart is fulfilling his promise when elected originally, “to trim the fat.”
Good work, Mr. Stewart and thank you from the long overtaxed, hard-working citizens of THIS COUNTY.

Nohe of course is trying to advance his own political agenda. Somebody need only to look at his business practices concerning the hiring of felons, possibly even illegals. You know why he whined about the business license rules recently. LOL. What a joke. Chris Cummings

I concur with Mr.& Mrs. Collins. Some of our Supervisors who are now proposing the higher rate, are the same ones who have received the largest number of campaign contributions from developers. In Supervisor Nohe’s case, he is playing politics with the citizens hoping to advance his own agenda of becoming Chairman someday. Those Supervisors going along with him should be paying attention to his own motives.
