I find the Board of County Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart’s statement that the General Assembly’s authorization of the NVTA was “criminal because they knew or should have known that was
unconstitutional,” inconsistent with his subsequent vote on the law. Mr. Stewart is a lawyer and he wants readers to think that back then he recognized the law as unconstitutional.

His statement is INCONSISTENT because he voted to SUPPORT the tax increases authorized to the NVTA by the legislation!

If he knew it was bad law back then, why did he vote to support it?

Why not say right there and then, “This is a bad law and I can’t support it, even though I want to raise your taxes.”

Why wait well over a year to say so? If he didn’t know it was bad law back then, what gives him the opportunity to now claim it’s criminal?

It’s called getting free publicity in a page one, above-the-fold news article and hoping readers do not know or have forgotten he voted for the tax increases authorized by the law he now claims was
criminal.

Hmmm,
All Republicans are liars? Does the name John Edwards ring a bell phdeebag? You are one pathetic socialist. You sure know allot about Hitler. I was in DC today for a meeting. I bet it was beautiful over at St Elizabeth’s. Did you get outside for some fresh air? What a silly little human being you are. Move the hell out of PW County. They appreciate your kind in Arlington and Montgomery Counties.

Stewart was for it before he was against it. It is a reshape, not only Obama is not the only one that can change his opinion , he has the right to change too.

Like most Republicans, Stewart tells lies.  Being fascisat, he gets the lies telling from Hitler’s propaganda minister, who said “tell a lie long enough and the people will believe it”. The Bush/republicans are fascists.

I will admit Chairman Stewart has his faults but he was the best and only choice at election time.
Mr. Gray has carried a vendeta against Corey for a few years now and it all goes back to the episode at Tacketts Mill. It was not Corey who called the Police.Check out a few others such as Keen.
Get over it Mr. Gray, lets move on.
