“Regarding Ms. Parker’s April 5 dose of cabernet sauvignon ... that “fine whine” about how ashamed she is of the county and our country because of our abuse of her Mexican heritage?
Being a foreign service brat doesn’t make you any more enlightened than being an army brat makes one a warrior. You’ve seen a bit of the world; big deal.
In this region, we’re all former diplomats, foreign service officers, or a myriad of other former roles that took us far and wide around this world, myself included. By your logic, because your foreign experience so enlightened you, we should all be ashamed and embarrassed?
Not only is Corey Stewart and others in this area doing the will of the MAJORITY of residents of this county, but they are reaping the gratitude of all “long time” residents who have become increasingly alarmed at the burgeoning numbers of illegal immigrants stopping here, no matter WHAT country they are from. It’s probably true that your adopted countrymen are not the cause of increasing crime in our area, unless you consider every single illegal immigrant, by virtue of their being here, as perpetuating crimes already committed.
Every illegal immigrant caught up in the snare of PWC’s resolution has brought on his or her own pain. If people from other countries are coming here to be free, then they should do so legally; to do otherwise only leads to living a lie, perpetuating a crime that could get them deported anytime.
What sort of freedom is that? By free, do you mean we should open the flood gates to everyone, anywhere?
By democracy, do you mean we should ignore our nation’s sovereignty and principles of law and just accept those who flaunt those principles as brothers in our community. If you care for your adopted countrymen and for this nation to which you are obligated by birth, you will help them become legal, rather than crying about why we can’t all just be friends?”

Do the right thing. Why don’t you publish the correct version of a dictionary? You anti’s just can’t accept the usage of a word that correctly describes you. It isn’t name calling at all. - And you anti folks don’t name call? Ha ha. Some of the best around.

phdee,
As in your previous comments, your use of the word bigot and racist reflects an inability on your part to challenge anyone who doesn’t agree with you without name calling.

Where do you get the MAJORITY allegation from? Did you take a poll? And the gratitude of “long term” residentws? Is this another poll? Ort is it - as I suspect - just a figment of your biased imagination. I’m long time here and I don’t support the resolution nor Stewart.

Mr. and Mrs. Gandy your comments are excellent and reflect the opinion of the majority of Prince William County residents. My hope is that those Supervisors who repeatedly attack Chairman Stewart are paying attention to all of these letters.
