My hope is that Gov. Tim Kaine’s, Sen. Toddy Puller’s and Del. Paul Nichols’ overwhelming support of President-elect Obama’s notion of “wealth redistribution” means that upon completion of the 2009
General Assembly session we’ll see their unified support of more of our tax dollars, at the current or reduced rate, coming back to Northern Virginia than ever before. That’s change we can all believe in.

We actually have the same problem right here in PWC.
Gainesville District residents send more money to the McCoart Building than is returned to the District.
This has always been true and at times is an issue - an other times we’re just happy to be left alone!

I would love to see more of our hard earned taxes come back to us, but that will never happen! As raywilliams so rightly stated, it didn’t happen when republicans were in office, and it hasn’t happened when dems are in office either. Maybe the time has come for there to be a North Virginia. It is after all a time for “change”, and that is something I would believe in.

Yea, ‘cause it sure didn’t happen under Governor Gilmore or Governor Allen’s watch.
