Thank you BOCS for listening to our pleas

Our Board of County Supervisors, the Prince William County Police Department and Neighborhood Services deserve special thanks for improving our quality of life, ensuring the safety of the citizens and improving our community.
The BOCS listened to the pleas of its citizens and enacted the “Rule of Law” resolution. Criminal illegal aliens are being arrested by the PWCPD and turned over to ICE. Neighborhood Services is responding to zoning violation complaints and ensuring that our neighborhoods are being cleaned up.
Del. Jackson Miller, R-Manassas, was the first local politician (then a Manassas City Councilman) to address the growing illegal immigration problem by getting the ball rolling for the 287(g) program at our jail.
It is rare to find politicians that actually do what they promise once they are elected. In Prince William County, we are very lucky to have politicians and county agencies that actually listen to the citizens and strive to improve our quality of life and our safety.
I am extremely proud to live in Prince William County, where I know that my concerns are taken seriously and I know I have a voice. For the first time in my life, I have faith in politicians.
The Rule of Law Resolution is working, and we have Chairman Corey Stewart and Supervisors John Stirrup, Wally Covington, Marty Nohe, John Jenkins, Maureen Caddigan, Mike May and Frank Principi to thank for it. Bless you all!

um, HELLLOOOO!! YOU feel safe living here in PWC?! Why? I may sound ignorant, upset—whatever in this letter. I am frustrated with “the good people of PWC.“ I am fed up with the school systems here. The whole East side of this county. I cannot speak on Manassas. I know this whole county is in an uproar about the illegal immigrant issue. But does ANYBODY care about the schools here. My issue is that I have had the biggest problem with being able to visit my children during regular school hours. I am not trying to visit to disrupt the class or teachers. I just want to be able to let my children know that i have my eyes on them & also to keep their behavior & manners in check. I also would like to see exactly what goes on inside the classroom. It’s now about being able to monitor the teachers= all those who are “teaching” my children. It is now about making sure they are not putting teir hands on my childen, teaching them properly, not shouting derragatory statements at them, etc. I’ve gone thru so much just to find out all of these rules & regulations are on a local level. NOW WHO DO I SPEAK TO?! I ONLY WANTED TO BE ABLE TO VISIT WITH THE CHILDREN!!

As you can see by recent and past posts, Ray Williams and I are trying to stay on topic. We often traded barbs but have come to a general understanding on the issue so I have to apologize to Ray for some of my past statements. Hopefully all of us that post here each day can just get back to agreeing to disagree and leave out all the personal attacks which gets us no where. Yes there are positives and negatives associated with the resolution but it’s not a race issue for 99% of those that oppose illegal immigration.

Cobra,
The first time PHDEE is involved in a car accident with an illegal immigrant driving drunk, then it will be whining about the laws needing to be changed.

prudenciow, I am pro-immigrant and I also support cobra as he has explained honestly where his frustrations come from in the past. He is just seeking to get his neighborhood back in some semblance of “normal” social order. Yes he has strong views, but then don’t we all. He’s ok in my book and I don’t pick on him too much
Some contributors we banter with, other we ignore, some are hopeless.

COBRA, I subscribe to: the Wash Post, Pot News, American Legion, my hometown weekly, a Pa. local daily, and a big assortment of magazines. As for puke, I have found all I need here on the website from the anti crowd.
By the way, when are you taking up my challenge to turn me in (or post)?

Here is a link to an interesting article written in 2005, re: Illegal Alien Crime written by Jim Kouri, who is described in his article thusly: Jim Kouri, CPP is fifth vice-president of the National Association of Chiefs of Police and served in law enforcement for over 25 years. He writes for many police magazines such as Police Times. He’s appeared as on-air commentator for over 100 TV and radio news and talk shows including Oprah, McLaughlin Report, CNN Headline News, MTV, Fox News, etc
I would say that even though NACOP is a fairly liberal organization, Chief Kouri would hold ample experience to address this problem.

The entire illegal immigrant apologist on this site needs to get together and find Phdee a home with rubber walls. She has gone off the deep end with her daily BS. Enough of the liberal cry babies on this site. Sorry, Corey Stewart won the election and all I hear now is sour grapes from you losers. Have your candidate run on the platform of giving amnesty to illegal immigrants and see how many votes you get. It may work in the liberal enclaves such as Arlington and Montgomery County but it will not fly in our jurisdiction. Phdee, still got your house coat on this morning?? Bet you went out this morning to pick up the Washington ComPost and the NY Slimes to get your daily ration of liberal puke.

Wow, this Cobra guy is really getting the attention of everyone. But I wonder if he is getting the point that he is being percived as a person who has issues againts hispanics (you know the “R***st” word). By the way Mr. Cobra check the American history, there have been so many accidents and attrosities caused by U.S Citizens. I don’t think is fear that you generalize and stereotype your accusations to an entire community based on isolated and unfortunate situations.

Ray,
Unfortunately he is only 12 but I’m thinking about getting him a TIN so that he can work legally. I figured he will make about $300 over the summer so fortunately he will not have to pay tax’s on that income. Unfortunately though he is working so cheap that he will depress the wages of illegals who work in the lawn care business.
