Thank you BOCS for listening to our pleas

Our Board of County Supervisors, the Prince William County Police Department and Neighborhood Services deserve special thanks for improving our quality of life, ensuring the safety of the citizens and improving our community.

The BOCS listened to the pleas of its citizens and enacted the “Rule of Law” resolution. Criminal illegal aliens are being arrested by the PWCPD and turned over to ICE. Neighborhood Services is responding to zoning violation complaints and ensuring that our neighborhoods are being cleaned up.

Del. Jackson Miller, R-Manassas, was the first local politician (then a Manassas City Councilman) to address the growing illegal immigration problem by getting the ball rolling for the 287(g) program at our jail.

It is rare to find politicians that actually do what they promise once they are elected. In Prince William County, we are very lucky to have politicians and county agencies that actually listen to the citizens and strive to improve our quality of life and our safety.

I am extremely proud to live in Prince William County, where I know that my concerns are taken seriously and I know I have a voice. For the first time in my life, I have faith in politicians.

The Rule of Law Resolution is working, and we have Chairman Corey Stewart and Supervisors John Stirrup, Wally Covington, Marty Nohe, John Jenkins, Maureen Caddigan, Mike May and Frank Principi to thank for it.  Bless you all!

Criminal illegal aliens are being arrested by the PWCPD and turned over to ICE.

One might think that the PWCPD arrested illegals aliens just because they were illegal and the PWCPD then turned them over to ICE.  As stated by Chief Deane only 1-3 people in the first month of implementing the Rule of Law that were arrested and sent to jail would not have been arrested before its iimplemention.  The Fact is the PWCPD arrest and have always arrested criminals no matter what.  It is the JAIL that changed what they did with the criminals and it is the JAIL that contacts ICE not the PWCPD. So why are we spending to much money on the PWCPD?  It is the Judges who let people out of jail not the PWCPD.  So why is the PWCPD being blamed for criminals who are let go and then commit another crime.

The Law of Resolution was a law to help
enforce a process for the ILLEGALS here.

Citizens are tired of LAW BREAKERS, no matter who they are or where they come from.

We are tired of the driving w/out a license, driving while intoxacated and all the other illegal ways of skirting around what America is all about.

Allison - or any other anti kook - Like Jacobsen, I too would like to know how my quality of life in PWC has or is improving, where is there less crime, and in what way(s) has the community improved.

Remember richg:  Christ was a liberal, not a conservative, or racist.

Let’s see:  from the anti bigots postings today, I’ve been called a fascist, socialist, & liberal,  and maybe a couple more.  This is exciting.

Let’s see Allison:  “quality of life”, “safety of the citizens”, “improving out community” - aren’t those the exact buzz phrases Stewart used several times in publicizing the anti-Hikspanic resolution?  Plagerism? References/  Where are they?  Didn’t little GMU teach that?  Maybe Stewart helped write it. —By the way, when racist Stewart went to Richmond to plug anti-immigration laws befdore the GA, he admitted he had no fazcts or sources for the PWC resolution - just antedotes. That’s been the entire “facts” the anti crowd like yourself have had. Good piece of fictional writing!!~

Phdee…you are now beyond embarrassing yourself.  When liberals like you are defeated by rational arguments you always resort to name calling and flippant remarks.

Allison,

Great letter, and thank you for acknowledging our elected officials for doing the right thing for the citizens of Prince William County in passing the “Rule of Law” Resolution.

Gosh.  One says I write “wiki’ish”, another plagerizes (are you a G. Mason student or grad by chance, who never learned to provide sources—- oh I forgot, as an anti, you don’t provide facts or sources), I wazs accused of plagerizing—yes, you guys are all mixed up. Oh how cute to substitute Mexican prison instead of Folsom—ruining my Sun label boys records.

I still never heard of - or don’t recall - Mr. Wilkins. I note Dawg that you had to go to an encyclopedia to fin d out who he was. He sure seems to have not held a job in one place very long.

We’re getting somewhere now in exposure.  Seems all these rabid anti- posters are all in the same bigoted crowd. Figures.  Shows a vocal minority among anti’s.

poor cobra.  Brings up so many irrelevant matters. Which amnesty do you want to discuss?  Cuban. Salvadoran? We’ve had so many. Wasn’t Bush proposing amnesty too? —Why did all those good old Manassas people leave Manassas, then return?

Whatever happened to that sex pervert who worked in the admin office at G. Mason?  In the pen? I filed a sexual harasasment complaint against that creepy dump and won. It’s a worthless institution - tries to buy prominent people.  It’s the place teachers go to get a Masters in Education, business admin., etc - one of those subjects where they take 2 semester courses and try to make a curriculum out of it. Complete waste of resources. Like the PWC resolution.

What’s wrong Gary?  Having to pay for licensed, bonded and insured workers for home improvements eating a hole in your pocketbook?
