Our Board of County Supervisors, the Prince William County Police Department and Neighborhood Services deserve special thanks for improving our quality of life, ensuring the safety of the citizens and improving our community.

The BOCS listened to the pleas of its citizens and enacted the “Rule of Law” resolution. Criminal illegal aliens are being arrested by the PWCPD and turned over to ICE. Neighborhood Services is responding to zoning violation complaints and ensuring that our neighborhoods are being cleaned up.

Del. Jackson Miller, R-Manassas, was the first local politician (then a Manassas City Councilman) to address the growing illegal immigration problem by getting the ball rolling for the 287(g) program at our jail.

It is rare to find politicians that actually do what they promise once they are elected. In Prince William County, we are very lucky to have politicians and county agencies that actually listen to the citizens and strive to improve our quality of life and our safety.

I am extremely proud to live in Prince William County, where I know that my concerns are taken seriously and I know I have a voice. For the first time in my life, I have faith in politicians.

The Rule of Law Resolution is working, and we have Chairman Corey Stewart and Supervisors John Stirrup, Wally Covington, Marty Nohe, John Jenkins, Maureen Caddigan, Mike May and Frank Principi to thank for it.  Bless you all!

I wish to compliment Ms. Kipp and agree with her that we owe a big THANKS to those Supervisors who voted for the Resolution.
Our County is a Leader and we must keep going.
Even tho some Supervisors are getting wishy-washy,we need to show them all the benefits for our community.
The areas of Woodbridge needs alot of help,as we have been negelected for years. Now is the time to turn it around.

Not sure why anybody responds to Phdee the Fascist liberal. She’s on the loosing side and they have become very desperate these days. She’s a Traitor plain and simple.

Exactly. Everywhere you look, supporters of the crackdown outnumber it’s detractors (among American citizens). The pro illegal alien lobby is becoming increasingly shrill as studies prove that enforcement works. Ignore the race hustlers of La Raza, Mexicanos sin Fronteras, and the Woodbridge Worker’s Committee and focus on reassuring the BOCS that this crackdown has your support. These are tough economic times for America, and stopping illegal immigration will make it harder in the short term. But America can’t survive on the kind of “pretend economy” embodied by the shady home loans and by employers using illegal aliens to prop up their business. If we continue to do the right thing even when it gets tough, we demonstrate political will to our governments that they can make tough choices and still get our votes. And THAT will solve the illegal immigration problem from the ground up. Keep up the good work, PWC!

Actually, I learned my writing style from Professor Roger Wilkins at George Mason University.

Thank you for your compliment - I only wish I could write as well as those who write “propaganda political messages.“

Agree with T DAWG.  Hey Phdee, why don’t you take an “undocumented” summer vacation to Mexico City and see what happens to you!

phdee, the space used by Allison’s post is expressly warranted for opinions from people holding diverse trains of thought. Space used to express ones thoughts is not a waste. S’funny you would complain ... would you be one of those who shouts ‘free speech’ ONLY when it agrees with your opinion???

Allison, it is indeed refreshing to have local leaders take a stance for the Rule of Law when so many are advocating lawlessness. I agree with you and add my thanks to the PWC BOCS, and PWCPD.

Ms. Kipp:

Right on! Our county and our elected officials are being viewed as leaders not racists all over the United States. Our Resolution is being copied and localities are realizing that they don’t have to wait for the Federal government to act in regards to illegal immigration.  They can take measures to improve the quality of life and safety concerns they have with illegal immigration.

The Rule of Law Resolution is a huge success and is not to blame for the fiscal problems are county is facing. Our County Executive, elected officials, and police chief should be talking about its successes.  They are afraid to do so because they don’t want the false accusations of racism being levied on them.

The issue has never been about racism, it has always been about the right of a select group of people to violate our immigration laws, adversely impact every aspect of county government, and then turn around and sue when things aren’t going their way.

Thanks to all of our elected officials and our chief for upholding the law.
