What a magnificent day Saturday, April 19 was. The first annual Kyle Wilson Walk for Fitness was a tremendous success. We are deeply touched and awed by the support we received from family, friends and the community.
Specifically, Prince William County, Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue, George Mason University, Buckhall Volunteer Fire Station 16, Dale City Little League and all of the sponsors that provided a wide variety of raffle items.
Never in our wildest dreams could we have ever envisioned such support from so many that took it upon themselves to walk in our son’s honor. How do we thank you all? We don’t really know except to say from the bottom of our hearts how much your support is needed and appreciated.
As Kyle’s family we are truly touched by the generosity shown by all of you. Over $15,000 was donated in order to start a scholarship fund to George Mason University in Kyle’s name.
