I want to thank everyone who supported me on my 20 mile swim on Aug. 1. This was the second Manassas City Ultra Swim-a-thon and my 50th birthday. We raised a lot of money towards the building of
a sprayground at Stonewall Pool. I dived in at 6:45 a.m. on Friday, August 1 and completed the 20 miles on Saturday August 2 at 2:45 a.m.
Thank you to those who swam with me, including Will Ameen, who swam with me at the beginning and the end. Thanks to all of the sponsors. I think we raised over $20,000.
