Thanks Mr. Stewart and the Prince William County Supervisors for raising my taxes. As a retiree on a fixed income, you are now forcing more taxes on homeowners through programs the county should not be shouldering.
Mr. Stewart says that people want to pay to police immigrants. Now the truth comes out. The cost will be high.
I need the tax relief, not increases. When you run for Lt. governor, Mr. Stewart, I hope you win and go to Richmond in a do-nothing job. A good escape for damages done in Prince William County.

raywilliams/ illegal immigrants have to provide documentation themselves;those of us here legally have no way of knowing who they are. they haven’t been vetted through any consulate, embassy,or legal process.my ancestors had to have a sponsor, papers from their countries of origin, proof that they were who they said they were, etc.why is it that followers of mexicanos sin fronteras, the national council of la raza, and others can’t advocate for following the law except when they are threatened with it?

Why don’t we provide documentation papers for these supposed non-tax-payers so we can collect the “missing” employment taxes on illegal residents? We can improve our tax revenues, improve our safety by having documentation on who and where these illegals are living and free up our police officers to focus on criminals rather than those whose only “crime” is missing papers. The KKK/HSM members in our community will argue illegal is illegal, but so are those that speed, tailgate, don’t use turn signals, torture and invade foreign countries. oops, got political there. If you want to fund programs - make it possible to collect taxes. If you are using taxes as an excuse to condem immigrants, then find a new crutch. If you don’t like Hispanics for neighbors, move to a high-priced gated community and let economics chose your neighbors. Most of all, quit whining about social burdens or support a documention process that enables workers to fund them. If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

If the county has the obligation to pay for or provide the unidentified se3rvices, then what’s your complaint? You folks talk about “laws” and “egal”, but it’s hollow. Courts have made school decisions - are you advocating nl law and order (or a return to Va.‘s closing of schools history rather than integrate). You don’t want to believe immigrants (legal or illegal) pay taxes too.

Increase of taxes are due also because we , you and me and all the taxpayers from Prince William County have to pay also for services provide to illegal immigrants, school, emergency rooms at the hospitals , clinics and other services that the county has the obligation to provide even for undocumented people. If you do not want to pay for the undocumented , support your supervisors and stop crying.
