The main headline in the Oct. 13 Washington Post read “Obama up by 10 points as McCain favorability ratings fall.” The Washington Post/ABC News poll also found that McCain “now has higher negative
ratings than his rival and is seen as mostly attacking his opponent rather than addressing the issues that voters care about.” More striking, the poll found that “McCain’s efforts to portray Obama as a
risky choice” have had the opposite effect. “In fact, voters are likelier to describe the Republican candidate that way.”
That same day, the Post reported that Del. Jeff Frederick had been rebuked by the McCain campaign for comparing Barack Obama to Osama bin Laden, and the News & Messenger published a letter
from John Barnes calling Obama a Marxist.
Hopefully, Frederick, Barnes and other Republican bigots will continue to spread their message of hate and drive the nails even deeper into McCain’s coffin.

Phdee-Philosophy: “If you look at colleges, most have a “liberal arts” curriculum? Do you know of any that have a “conservative arts” one? The difference is that “liberals” thin[k]; conservatives just hold the status quo - duh!!!“
Phdee, in all of your nonsensical, ridiculous, and pointless posts over the past months, you’ve somehow still managed to surpass even yourself in terms of ignorance and irrelevance. I didn’t really want to dignify your nonsense with a response, but I just couldn’t resist: I’m beginning to wonder if you might not be twins….you’re here, but where’s Phdeedle-Dee?

When in a storm, go with the skipper that shows a calmness under pressure.
Barack Obama has shown that calmness while John McCain has acted like a loose cannon - does anyone remember McCain rushing back to Washington to save our economy?
Does anyone remember the McCain energy policy of Drill Baby Drill - which won’t produce a drop of oil for 10 or more years?
Does anyone remember the McCain economic policy of More of the Same - tax cuts for the wealthy and transfer the burden to the working class.
Vote conservative Democratic on November 4th. Vote for Barack Obama.
