The kind of change that America needs

What is change? What is Obama talking about?
Change… is doing things differently. Change is about working together to find the answers.
When the Republicans controlled Congress, they boasted that they would draft bills, bills that were then passed by the Republican majority and became the laws of our country. that they would draft
these bills in private committee meetings, not even allowing the Democrats to participate in the meetings.
Silencing the opposition’s voices silences their ideas and limits the intellect to a single point of view. Those liberal, free-thinking Democrats might even have had a suggestion or two that could have saved
us from some of the mistakes of the last few years, but we’ll never know.
McCain is a loyal Republican. He doesn’t believe that he needs to listen to the Democrats. He believes that Republicans are right. He believes that he is right. He voted the Republican line 95 percent of
the time.
But no one knows everything, not the Republicans, not the Democrats, not McCain and not even Obama… NO ONE!
But Obama listens to both sides. Obama wants to hear the pros and cons of every argument. We are living in some tough times with a lot of tough questions. Obama knows that to find the answers we
will need the wisdom of both sides and everyone in between.
The questions are tough. The answers will be tough too.
But if we work together, look at the problems from all the angles, together — Democrats and Republicans together as Americans — we will find the answers, the best answers. We will succeed.
This is the kind of change that America needs.

Cobra is always on the whoopie cushing pasing gas and riding in his convertible to blow off the stink. Maybe we can think up some “young fart” jokes for him.

“I guess the BHO camp will have to stop the old fart jokes since Bidden is 65 and has been in the Senate 10 years longer then McCain. “
Yep, 65 and STILL 7 years younger than that old fart, McCain…
We’ll give up on the old fart jokes, if you now quit claiming you’ve got more experience.
Don’t worry though. McCain still wins on “most houses per candidate”. We’re just now sure by how much.

You would think rick Sapp has a personal relationship as he knows BHO so well. I guess the BHO camp will have to stop the old fart jokes since Bidden is 65 and has been in the Senate 10 years longer then McCain. Work together is a joke. The Republicans had every right to shut out Democrats such as had been done to them for a couple of decades. Wipe away the tears Rick. Hate to see grown men cry.

All politicians promise to work together.
I’ll be voting for Obama this November. But I will be holding him to this promise of working together and being willing to compromise with the Republicans. Our country cannot afford another four years of political gridlock.

The Bush/Republican/MCain folks are fascistsa. They all stand and applaud wilding like atteneeds at Hitler rallies. Thinking isn’t a part of their resume. And they lie like crazy, and love war like Mccain. Of course, Bush did claim McCain was mentally ill.

Another thing Sen. Obama wants to change is the secret ballot.
He favors a bill that would require that employees of any company that a union seeks to unionize sign a card, presented to them by the union, indicating their favoring or opposing unionization. This would subject employees to intimidation by the union & by the employer.
It is a small step from the employees of a business to the citizens of a nation.
The secret ballot is the cornerstone of democracy. How can Sen. Obama take the right to a secret ballot from one person and still call himself a Democrat?

He listens to both sides? The best he could come up with as an example of working across party lines was ethics reform. Just because he says he can listen does not cover up reality and fact.
He supports killing babies, supports gun control. Supports higher taxes. Exactly how would he change his views or be able to work with the other side with those views?
