Trusting Obama to fix our messes

Last Saturday I voted for Sen. Barack Obama for president. I voted for Obama because I feel he has the right stuff to get this country out of the numerous messes it’s in. From the war to the economy to
energy policy, I see Obama as the solution and not the problem.
Sen. John McCain has two problems. The first and most obvious one is that he has voted with President George W. Bush 90 percent of the time. He can say he’s not President Bush, but he can’t say his
preferred policies are not Bush’s.
McCain also has a judgment problem. His selection of Gov. Sarah Palin as his vice presidential candidate is totally flawed. The vice president’s job is to replace the president if necessary. Palin is
barely qualified to replace a buyer for Saks or Neiman Marcus.
Obama has used an expression almost never uttered in the McCain camp — middle class. The shrinking of the middle class and the dramatic growth of those in poverty, along with that one percent of
Americans that have 90 percent of America’s wealth, are responsible for a wide range of problems.
As a veteran of Vietnam and a proud American, I really put my country first by voting for Barack Obama.

PHD,
As I said it is already being checked out. If you hate America so much, why don’t you leave? Go live in a Nation that better reflects your views somewhere like China or Cuba. And, since you won’t be able to use the internet to bash your new Country or Government, we will just assume you are making out all right. Slave labor was not the only thing that built this Nation. There were plenty of folks who did work, and that is what made America great and what is also the reason why you lefties hate it. America showed that with hard work and determination anyone can make it. The left hates that type of system.
Show me a Country that was successful running a socialist or communist system? You can’t do it. Seems to me that capitalism is still the best system, Countries are still investing here and not in Cuba.
You also must be a reflection of your family if they taught you to talk the way you are doing it. I bet your parents must be proud to have you to carry on the family name. A shame that once again, a lefty shows just what the left is all about.
Obama still does not have any experence when you look at who has spent the most time in the Senate.
Combat and being in the military does give a person experence in how to handle stress, life and death etc, and how to lead people.

Irishlad. If the 300 million Obama raised has no names attached and if this a violation of law, then MAKE THE SWORN AFFADAVIT!!! Don’t be a wimp. Go for it!!!
Come now, this country was built starting from nearly day one on slave labor and exploitation. Anyone who denies that is denying his American heritage.
Has capitalism worked. Let’s see: slavery, civil war, holoicat of native Americans (Indians), wars after war, 1929 Depression, todays depression, etc - on and on. Doesn’t seem like too many govts in the world exist for too long. Today it looks like capitalism is going to destroy the world’s economic system. Does this remind you of communist propaganda of how capitalism will destroy itself?
You’re avoiding the question of “experience”, and trying to argue that the same “experience” for McCain is somehow superior to Obama’s. Firts, what does having been in combat do that gives McCain “executive experience” ans: absolutely nothing. What does being in the House, a same legislative body as the Senate, gain “executive experience”; Clearly if Obama can’t get experience in the Senate, then neither could McCain in the House, or Senate. Are you saying the first 5 years of Senate “experience” doesn’t cou t, in other words, Mccain would onl,y have 21. That’s very interesting. You’re just a dumb ignorant Republican punk, abysmally stupid. Must be from your parents and family. After all, spanky posted that racism, bigotry, hate, etc. come from the family, i.e. what’s in the cat is in the kittens.
Let us know how your affadavits make out.

One thing the Obama camp has been able to do is keep Barack Obama and Joe Biden on the same page.
Unlike other presidential campaigns currently running, there is no infighting, Obama’s VP is not “off message” or worse yet, running his own message that undermines the head of the ticket.
Leadership is inspiring others to want to support you and work hard for you. Barack Obama has shown these leadership qualities - as witnessed by his grassroots support throughout the nation.
As for the candidate that can’t keep his hand-pick VP under control, well that is also a reflection of leadership skills.
No one has the “experience” to be president because no single job trains one to be president. Serving as president requires advisors in many different fields, the ability to digest information and the courage to make decisions.
Therefore, I’m voting for Barack Obama on November 4th.

PHD,
Obama has no experence, McCain has been in the Senate much longer, has been in combat, and has been in the House. Even Joe Biden knows Obama is not ready.

PHD,
Sorry, but that action has already happened. Besides, given how Joe the Plumber has been treated by Obama and his supporters, I will do not want to be singled out by someone as thin skinned as Obama. Two hundred million dollars that Obama has raised have no names attached to the donation.
PHD,
Thanks for providing us with more proof of just how sick and full of hate liberals are in this Nation. You simply cannot have a decision without insults.
Can anyone provide an example of when socialism has worked? Because that is what Obama wants for the Country. He wants to punish success and reward those that just want to suck off the rich and the Government.
Remember, America did not become a great Nation based on socialism. Why do you think other Countries invest in our Nation? Why do you think they buy our dollars? Because we have a system that rewards risk and hard work. Socialism does just the opposite.

John McCain has another problem. He thinks our problems stem from a correct Republican political philosophy that’s simply been applied incorrectly. That somehow by more competently employee aggression in the middle east he will achieve peace where others have failed. By more passionately applying trickle-down economics, the free market will solve our financial problems.
He thinks a bigger hammer applied by a more talented hand is our solution. The rest of us know we need a whole different toolbox.
Obama is winning this election because more and more common-sense Republicans are joining independents in supporting the guy with a better plan for America.

Irishlad: If it is a “fact” that Obama has broken financial laws and committed voter fraud, then why don’t you take those “facta”, go to the authorities and make a sworn affadavit. Be a super citizen, not a coward. I say you don’t have the courage, strength or fortitude to do so - you are just hearing noises in your pea brain. Remember it is also a felony to knowingly make a sworn affadavit. Good luck!!! Let us know how it goes.

irishlad: The McCain TV ads say Obama hss “no executive experience”..Funny, Obama has been in the Senate for what, 5 yrs. McCain 26. If Obama got no experience in the Senate, then how could McCain? After all, both work in the same organization (Senate), have identical job descriptions, act on the same legislation, etc. How did McCain get executive experience and Obama did not? It’s crazy (and a TV LIE, assuming Senate work gains experience.). I guess like from Animal Farm, all pigs are equal, but some are more equal than others.

Ron,
So, what you are saying is that you agree with me on the fact the Dems have done nothing since taking over Congress in 2006.
Another Jimmy Carter and you are proud of that. Wow, just wow.
Get ready for 18% interest rates, a gutting of the military and more terrorist attacks. You do realize it was because Jimmy Carter was a failure and liberal that the GOP has had the WH for all but eight years since Jimmy lost.
I can’t help the fact Obama has broken campaign finance laws, has helped out an organization that has been convicted of voter fraud, etc.
