Unfair, unbalanced local journalism

The Potomac News and the Manassas Journal Messenger continue to prove that the media is so biased in their support of the liberal agenda.

Joe Biden continues to get front page coverage every time he comes to the area. It doesn’t matter that no one is interested in what this career politician has to say.

I guess picking an old Washington establishment politician supports the “change we can believe in” liberal campaign slogan. However, when Sarah Palin came to Northern Virginia and drew a huge
following, this paper gave her little to no press.

They have not done any articles that let American voters know about her successful rise in politics. Gov. Palin is someone who has actually made changes but again no mention of that will come from the
media.

John McCain has also visited Virginia numerous times and I know this because sometimes he made the last page or got a corner of an internal page. Barry Obama goes to Europe and gets front page
coverage with full photos.

Is it just a coincidence that all the editorial cartoons attack conservatives? Why does this paper allow Gary Jacobsen to contribute? I can purchase the National Enquirer if I want to read poor journalism.

The media must be extremely frustrated that with all their biased reporting and the support of Hollywood political advisors like Matt Damon, Pam Anderson, David Letterman and others, that they still do
not have this election won. Add Sarah Palin to the race and the media is trying everything they can do divert any positive attention she garners.

Even SNL has done skits recognizing the media’s fascination with Barack Obama. Don’t worry I would never threaten to cancel my subscription as I need to stay informed on the media’s distortion of the
truth and how that effects my future.

Mr. Kidd—

I feel a bit of your pain.

Please understand, though—and I mean you no offense in pointing this out—deluding yourself into thinking that this paper stands as an objective voice in this community was your first mistake.  Thinking that you, or anyone, could change that fact simply by railing against in print was your second.

Nobody’s listening.  Or at least that’s the way it seems, judging by the reaction one gets.

If it’s straightforward, objective print reporting you’re looking for, may I suggest the Christian Science Monitor, International Herald Tribune, or the Financial Times in newspaper form.  For a weekly magazine of world affairs, it’s hard to beat The Economist.  For television, I recommend BBC World News.

The Potomac News is entertainment, pure and simple.  Treat it as such, and you won’t be as nearly disappointed as you have been in the past.

Or, as I like to think, “Blessed are those who expect nothing, for they shall not be disappointed”.

In terms of sheer comedic value, it’s clearly hard to beat Cobra, who, much like the fictional terrorist organization, is passionately dedicated to make-believe.

I’m afraid in Cobra’s attempt to fight fire with fire, Cobra is the one left singed around the edges - next time they form a rant composed entirely of weak arguments, unsubstantiated claims and fantasy “I had fun running them off my street this weekend”, make sure to at least spell check (“gaffe”, not “gaff”...how’s that for foolish?) and get the targets straight - is a liberal a “60’s radical” or a “word smith”. Or are they both?

And since when did them ornery lib’rels have control of the executive branch during the last two years? Did I miss something?

The lad’s neighbors must be enamored with Cobra, though, bravely chasing all those unwashed hippies off his street, perhaps with a sling blade.

Mmmmm…french fried pertaters.

OK,
Let me vote for two fools such as you liberals will do in November.

Bidden,
Stand Up Chuck! Oh that’s right; Chuck is in a Wheel Chair!! Woops!

“Stock Crash of 1929” Woops!

“Hillary would have made a better candidate” Woops!

Funny how the MSM just gloss’s over Biddens Gaffs but every word that comes out of the mouth of McCain & Palin is broken down by the Liberal word smith’s. Paulson is a Democrat and is very close with Dodd, Schumer & Frank. Typical liberals trying to place blame when they have had control for two years. Pelosi & Reid are miserable and have absolutely no leadership abilities. BHO showed absolutely no leadership skills during the recent crisis. He stutters like that kid in Deliverance. He can’t speak a clear sentence unless he’s in front of the teleprompter. And your Girl Hillary was scared to death to be on the same stage with Palin for the Iran protests at the UN. Yes it was politics as usual for Liberals. Could not come together for 15 minutes to show the world we are united against Iran. Nope! Politics trumps everything for Liberals. I had fun running them off my street this weekend. Bunch of Freaks walking around looking like 60’s radicals and appeared to not have taken a bath for a week. Good old Liberals for you.

Probably not.  Not a liberal and not on the Board of Directors for the MJM.  Do they have a board of directors?

You know what I am talking about, I feel certain.  And the person in question is not on that board of directors.  Someone lied.

We now have a Joe McCarthy in our midst. He was the commie hunter, who got wiped out during the Army-McCarthy hearings by the Army;s counsel:  “Sen McCarthy do you have no shame?“.  All on early TV.

And who could forget the pig.  Mc would say to an alleged communist “I have here in my hands a document that show you’re a communist”.  The person would ask “May I see that document”.  And Mc would reply “No, can’t let you see these secrets”.

So now dotherightthing doesn’t divulge his allegations no matter what.  Quite frankly, five will get you ten that this “joe MCCarthy” doesn’t have any sources, just his immagination, i.e. a Republican liar.  This is similar to the resolution folks behavior.  They had nothing - jsst lies and imaginations. Yes sir, old Joe was truly one of America’s blackmarks on its history.  Lots of innocent people’s careers were destroyed by this nut. It was a joy to see this scumbag destroyed and censored by the Congress.

blue doggette,

Why are you so overly concerned?  Are you the liberal in question?
I never divulge my source of information.

Do the right thing, who is it that is liberal that you think is on the MJM board of directors?

Seems like I read some very false information on a blog on this subject recently.  And no, I didn’t believe it and confirmed it with the individual.

Blue doggette,

My information did not come off a blog site.  I don’t use blog sites as sources of information.

Do the right thing,

I believe you are laboring under some real false information.  Don’t believe everything you read on blogs.
