May I share my view with you? Obama wins (theoretically, of course!!). He is inaugurated next Jan. 20. The VERY NEXT DAY we will be getting all new reports from the whacky, freaky liberal Democrats
out there!! Details follow:
First, we are now WINNING the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Al Qaeda is on the run. People dance in Baghdad streets, schools are now being built, new hospitals are springing up, and Iraq has
electricity again! Iraq is now safe and quiet, with minimal violence and disruption. Obama now rules!
The economy is robust and thrusting ahead in ways not seen since Jan. 20, 2005 (when it started “failing” on Bush’s inauguration day!!) EVERYONE is buying houses and cars and can now send their
children to college, pay for health care costs, fill up their tank and save for the future. Interest rates are now low, inflation rates are now low, savings rates are now high. Corporations shows record
profits. “Big oil” is now a partner, not the enemy. Obama is in charge!
The world now LOVES us! France, Germany, Lebanon, Brazil, Iran, Trinidad, etc… all bow to us now that the messiah Obama is in charge! Countries line up at the United Nations to praise us! Chavez,
Castro, Ahmadinejad, all the terrorists lay down their arms and pay homage to the U.S. Osama turns himself in because Obama has arrived!!
Schools are now producing the most highly educated young people the world has ever seen. No students drop out anymore, test scores skyrocket and new colleges are created to handle all the new
students! Technology is now curing diseases, stopping Aids, and giving aspirin to every person in the world who has a headache! Obama is here now!!
The environment is pristine, the rain forests are rebounding, glaciers are now increasing, polar bears are no longer drowning and global warming has ceased.
I hope you all get my drift here, folks. If the liberals don’t, then you have more problems than your distorted support of the first socialist to be elected the U.S. president.

Lines are moving well, I vote at Enterprise elementary, I walked there, arrived at shortly after 8am, and was back home by about 9:15am. All the machines were working fine, and the poll workers were going out of their way to be helpful.
Go out and Vote, vote for the candidate of your choice, just vote.
Vote, Make Virginia’s voice heard.

Well, election day is finally here. It is time to put aside the bickering and encourage EVERYONE to get out and vote today, regardless of whom you support.
We should treat today as a football game tied at zero-zero as time runs out.
Do not belive your candidate is the “clear winner” and your vote is not important, nor that your candidate has “already lost” and your vote will be wasted.
The only way to know you’ve done everything possible to help your guy is to cast that ballot today.
It’s been fun, we’ll count the ballots tonight.
Election day is what makes America great.

Mmm—no. I just don’t think it’s going to swing that way, no matter WHO wins. There’s just no need for excitement on anyone’s part.
We’ll have to hope for the best between these two and pray (can I say the “p”-word in here?) that they don’t jack things up too badly before we get the chance to nominate some real Presidential material four years hence.
Don’t worry too much about who wins. Either one will just be a placeholder—a hood ornament—until a legitimate Chief Executive is found for 2012.
I’m thinking Michael Bloomberg might just make it next time around.

“I foresee an exodus ..“
You got some kind of crystal ball or something? Information the rest of the world doesn’t have? Has Barack Obama personally shared his plans with you?
“I foresee” is fancy talk for “I guess”, “I’ll bet” or “I’ll say anything to keep my guy from getting creamed in tomorrow’s election”.
I ask again: Does John McCain have anything to sell to the American public other than fear of “what Obama MIGHT do”?

I liked your post Mr. Scott! I’ve been beating the national security drum a few times this past month.. and I can add to your Utopian world veiw as follows:
- If Obama wins, we can expect a hollowing out of the U.S. defense budget to pay for social program expansions. Not good.
- If Obama wins, I foresee an exodus of top military officers from the ranks, loyal, respectful, and patriotic leaders…..who sincerely feel they can’t serve under what will be a very liberal administration. Not good.
- If Obama wins, God forbid, I think he will be tested on national security.. with a tragic and sorrowful event somewhere in our country. Not good.
- If Obama wins, Israel’s defense posture will be heightened… as they won’t expect as much support as they would from a President McCain. Not good.
I can add more “not goods” but I’d need 4 MB of space to cover it all.

“I only ask that you make the same committment to take the high road and congratulate the winning team when all is said and done.“
That’s pretty funny Ray, asking Conservatives to take the high road, on anything.
Personally, I was hoping all Conservatives who get upset about a Obama/Biden win would decide to leave these United States and head for a country more suited as a Conservative utopia. You know, a country where every man is expected to have a gun. A country that has no lazy-people-supporting social services programs to suck up tax dollars from hard-working self-sufficient people. A country where abortion is illegal, religion is mandatory, and women know their place is in the home taking care of the family and being subservient to her husband.
So to my Conservative friends; if Sen Obama wins tomorrow, and you’re really upset about the results, please head to Iraq.

“Boy,won’t all these Liberals be disappointed come Tues. night and we have a McCain & Palin ticket the winners.“
ejben - I can’t speak for others here, but I will encourage them to join me on this.
I will commit to you right now that I will accept defeat with grace and humbleness should McCain-Palin win the election.
No letters from me stating how they “stole” the election, used lies,
Swift Boat tactics or that the better man lost. If McCain-Palin win, it is because they sold their case to the American public better than Obama-Biden did. Period.
I only ask that you make the same committment to take the high road and congratulate the winning team when all is said and done.
Fair?

“Boy,won’t all these Liberals be disappointed come Tues. night and we have a McCain & Palin ticket the winners.
Don’t be surprised as it is on it’s way. “
Put down the crack pipe.
Drudge and Fox can only hide the truth from you for so long, my friend. Its over for McCain and its not even going to be close.

“In MY other words, Barack Obama wants to return this country to her former greatness”
See…a fundamental difference. Republicans believe this country IS great. Democrats only believe it’s great if it abandons the values upon which is was founded.
And he’s going to do this how? We can evaluate him on the basis of what to demonstrate that he’s capable of any such thing?
Let’s see. His legislative record? Find me something legislatively significant that he’s ever done. Good luck. I’ll find you more than a hundred instances where he avoided voting on tough issues because he’s a coward.
Maybe his character? Since he CHOSE to be friends with a domestic terrorist, a man who supports Palestinian attacks against Israelis, and a racist, America-hating “sprititual mentor”...and has since lied REPEATEDLY about these associations…I’m guessing character isn’t where we’ll find evidence.
Perhaps from commitments he’s made and kept?
A repeated pledge to take public financing? Nope…couldn’t keep that one.
A call to cut taxes for all who make under $250,000? Well, that figure has changed dramatically in less than two weeks.
A pledge that there won’t be any drilling for oil? Woops.
And on, and on we go with broken commitments.
Your candidate is an unjustifiable joke. Realize it, admit it, and be accountable for voting to diminish America’s greatness, rather than taking the opportunity to enhance it.
Ray…so little intellect for such a swollen head.
