We need Keith Fimian in Congress. Vote Keith on Nov. 4th.You will be glad you did.

We need change, and putting Fimian in Congress will mean one less seat for the liberals. That’s been the problem for eight years — the Congress of Liberals ruled the roost.

McCain and Palin will bring a new vibrant voice to the White House. For all Republicans, not just the far right. You will see how great it will be even for Democrats. We just need to change the Congress as
they are the ones who voted 90 percent of the time with Bush. The majority of the 90 percent were Democrats. Get the facts. Vote Republican.

It’s amazing all the guesses and supposes as to who supported who in a Primary. I have seen many Primaries go to the wrong person because the Far Right got out their bus loads of church people and you never saw them again for 4 years.
Just because they push the wrong way is no reason to assume all are the same. These very same so called Repb. and their Far Right has really made a mess of things. But that doesn’t mean we give up.
Everyone has an opinion and thats how it should be.

Ray
I can see t your frustration in you comments but voting Obama is not the solution to our problems. The remedy will be worst than the illness. I hope you can enjoy all kind of freedoms that you have now if Obama wins. Balance the freedom in a country target for jihads is not easy and Obama is not ready to deal with that. Joe Bidden already picture what would happen in the next six months of Obama in the WH .

We can thank Mr. Connolly for the following:

Higher crime rate in Fairfax County
Overcrowding in our schools
Increase in traffic in the Tysons Corner Area
Influx of illegal immigrants into the county
Even with a huge budget deficit in Fairfax, Mr. Connolly rewarded all of his good work with increases in his own salary.
Degradation and deterioration of neighborhoods because of a lack of enforcement of overcrowding.

WOW! Fairfax County has a lot to be thankful for under Chairmen Connolly’s leadership.  He is more corrupt than Congress!

I agree the last eight 8 years have been a horror.

Might want to fact-check who’s been in charge though. Turns out that it’s been the Republicans who have been growing the government, setting record debts, going to war with the wrong country, torturing, lying, spying, breaking the law and shredding the constitution.

So if you don’t want 8 more years of the same, better vote for Gerry Connolly or Joe Oddo (even if it makes Rush Limbaugh all crazy).

“Freedom , is not precisely what your fellows liberals want.“

GSU, I can’t speak for most liberals, as most of my friends are conservative Democrats.

But I support the freedom to bear arms, as long as they’re registered and not AK-47s or some such. I think a few police officers might go along with me there, as they’re the ones facing down the drug dealers and other wackos.

This whole News & Messenger post is about freedom of speech. I don’t recall but once asking someone to temper their post language. I even support Sarah Palin’s freedom to lie in ads attacking Senator Obama. As I support my freedom to respond to her lie about selling a jet on eBay.

I support your right to celebrate Christmas, hang Santa Claus from the roof top and greet me each season with a hearty Merry Christmas. I may respond with a Seasons Greetings to you, but I won’t be offended by your spreading of cheer and goodwill.

You are also welcome to decorate your government office with trees and tinsel and park your manger in front of the courthouse for all to see - assuming there is space for those of other religions to proudly display their religious artifacts also.

I do draw a sharp line at keeping religion - any religion - separate from the business of government. I’ll stand quietly while you say a little prayer if you wish, assuming you’ll halt your meeting long enough for a Muslim to face Mecca at the appropriate time and remain silent while he prays to the God that is the Creator of all mankind in his way.

I look at religious-based countries such as Iran and Saudi Arabia and wonder how Christians feel about not being free to practice in those countries - yet they would enforce the same laws here if given the chance.

I’ll admit you lost me on surpressing someone’s freedom to eat what they want. Take your gun and kill a deer, eat tuna salad or enjoy a Vegan diet - I’ll stick with my pepperoni pizza thank you.

And if a professor gives you a bad grade for your opinion, we need a new professor. If you receive the bad grade because you cannot ARTICULATE your opinion, the professor is well within his rights.

And based on the postings I see here from many McCain supporters, I can see a stereotype relationship developing between socialist liberial Republicans and conservative college professors.

The ability to debate without anger seems to be a rare gift.

“So lets get real, how will a Democrat President do any better.? He won’t ,we will go further in to socialism.“

ejben, if you feel that way, I suggest you vote for the McCain-Palin ticket. I don’t feel that way and I’m going to vote for the Obama-Biden ticket.

Ain’t America a great country! We’ll tally them up on November 4th and see who wins.

Mr Williams, you are way off base. Why haven’t we seen you out there volunteering ? Why haven’t we seen you at County Meetings voicing your opinion? Why haven’t we seen you at the Republican Meetings?

It is true george Bush let alot of people down but worse yet we had a Congress with most all of the Democrats voting for what they wanted. Even with all the added Pok Barrel added.
So lets get real, how will a Democrat President do any better.? He won’t ,we will go further in to socialism.

<one day you will see my name on a ballot - when life allows for the freedom of time to do so.>
Freedom , is not precisely what your fellows liberals want. Suppressing the freedom to bear arms, suppressing the freedom of speech , suppressing the freedom to eat what you want, suppressing the freedom to have recruit offices in colleges, suppress the freedom to say Marry Christmas or have Christmas ornaments, or mention Jesus in Christmas, something that don’t even happened in a country like Germany that Obama like so much. Freedom to disagree with liberal professor without getting bad grades. You liberal and socialist are the ones who want to suppress our freedom.
