Vote or become part of the problem

While everyone is battling, there are those who will not vote. They will either assume that the other side has already won, (That’s what they want you to think) or they figure their side has won, so why
bother?
Now, as to sign stealing and who is responsible… someone came into my yard and took my “Republican for a Reason” sticker off my car. And all sides throw stones.
God gave us all brains and it is up to us to use them. If we vote because of personal beliefs then all will be in, if not then we are the problem.

Thanks Ray…well said. I echo your hopes that things will take on a more civil tone in this forum, both before and after the election.
The bottom line is, when all is said and done, we’re all Americans and want what’s best for our country. The views may differ, but the end goal is essentially the same for most of us.
Our emphasis as Americans should not be to push our respective candidates down the throats of others, but rather to stick together and do our best with whatever hand we’re dealt.
No matter the outcome, there’s still considerable strength in unity. Considering the fact that this world isn’t getting any safer or saner, we’ll need all the unity we can muster.

g-g, I think it was an Obama supporter frustrated by the shortage of Obama signs, due to the overwhelming shift to Obama in these last few days.
It has certainly been a pleasure debating with you on civil terms without the need to conjure up attacks on one another. Keep the sense of humor as this country has a long way to go regardless who wins next Tuesday.
You might notice my policy of NOT debating those that can’t hold a civil conversation or have their minds stuck in concrete that all they do is parrot the same nonsense all the time. I wish more posters would do so and perhaps knock a few of the nut posters off these pages.
I’m sure many of us with opposing views would be friends if we met under different circumstances. My neighbors are evenly split between Obama and McCain, but we’ve agreed to disagree and not talk politics.
On another post, I’ve suggest we only make comments supporting our guy for the next weeks, and refrain from bashing the other guy. If we can’t support our guy’s policies, we shouldn’t be voting to begin with.
We’ll see how far that goes!

Ms. Stotler is correct. This election is important and it will be a close race.
It is important all voters vote early and vote often for their candidate of choice.
And ... to the McCain supporter .. please bring back my Obama and Warner signs you took from my yard.
