It is with much interest and dismay to continue to “study” the on-going directive of staff by the Prince William County Board of Supervisors to study a “Home Help Program” for PWC employees only.

Not only is investment money to be tied up for 10 years with interest to the benefit of county staff and not to taxpayers investment, but other undisclosed programs to benefit staff are being considered by
staff.

Although this study has not been completed nor presented back to the Board of County Supervisors (should be in September), I have witnessed Mr. Stewart, Mr. May and Mr. Jenkins on county cable
talking about this “done deal.”

What has happened to the old fashioned way of democratic process?

County information to frequently answered questions does, in fact, leave more questions rather than answers as to this process and the wisdom of same. Taxpayers, please stay informed; as we all know
all county assets belong to county taxpayers.

Ronny
You are talking from your wounds. Your party lost and Bush was elected in a democratic process, Corey Stewart won in a democratic election, none of your candidates deserve to win. A new democratic process is coming and if democrats win I’m not planning to cry for the next 4 years, I will continue fighting to promote my conservative ideals. <Republicans hate democracy> .Is not your leader Pelosi and followers the ones that refuse bring to the floor for a vote the energy bill that will allow to drill off shore, just because she knows will lose in her battle against drilling?. So please stop crying and see what your party is doing to promote democracy

When you elect Republicans, you get the Republican agenda.

Republicans hate democracy.  It’s why they spend so much effort at hiding their actions, restricitng the rights of the public to access legislative records, and work so hard to restrict voting rights.
