When will an apology come?

Recently, the Washington Post and Time magazine reported Virginia’s GOP Chairman Jeffrey M. Frederick’s comments comparing Sen. Barack Obama to Osama bin Laden when he stated that, “Both
have friends who bombed the Pentagon. That is scary.” As we know, this remark is a VERY distorted and oft refuted association between Obama and the 1960s radical, William Ayers. The local News &
Messenger picked up the story recently. Lyle Beefelt, chairman of the Prince William Republican Committee, apparently agrees.
I had hoped to see some refutation of Frederick’s remarks by Del. Scott Lingamfelter and Del. Bob Marshall and the Republican members of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, but alas none
has come. I am wondering if this means that they are as guilty as Del. Frederick is of race baiting and character assassination by innuendo, which seems to have become standard fare for the GOP,
particularly a GOP that seems to be losing ground in the commonwealth and the rest of the country.
What a sad state of affairs for Prince William County and the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Commonwealth of Virginia is the birthplace of many of our nation’s early leaders.
I am sure many deceased Republican leaders must be spinning in their graves, filled with indignation at the comments of their modern descendants.

“You know you’re a redneck when….“
...your government acts like you live in hick town and assumes they can pull the wool over your eyes without consequence.

This new breed of arrogant, incompetent Republican seems to thrive on a kind of “end justifies the means” philosophy that makes all of this OK. Palin, Frederick, Stewart, Bush all seem to relish this ignorant-thugish-redneck-bigot persona.
He’s not going to appologize and quite frankly, the rednecks who voted him into office are’t going to ask him to. Rush and Sean have told them Obama is a terrorist, they believe it, and that settles it. It’s pathetic.

I swear, if I ever heard a politician apologize for ANYTHING, I would keel over dead.

It’s amazing that folks will destroy and attack someone who is really “one of us”. Guess what folks, in the area of Ohio where “Joe the Plumber” works HE DOES NOT NEED A LICENSE as long as the owner of the business he works for has one. And how does he being behind in his property taxes change anything? It’s all about “kill the messenger” because “Joe the Plumber” happened to be standing in front of your Messiah when he uttered his real socialist convictions that has finally awakened America. Readers, look at these comments below and recognize the intentions.

Yep, spanky, they sure did, and against the popular opinion of the people. Remember to it was John McCain that ran back to Washington to make sure it passed. Regardless, it happened and it was done ignoring the popular opinion of the People.
It’s time for a new party to rise, one that is willing to represent the people. Fat chance of that happening either.

Chambley4, what the heck does Ayers have to do with anything. Besides, Mr. Ayers and his wife were never convicted of anything. Mr. McCain brought Joe the Plumber into the campaign. Amazing, he made a tax dodging, unlicensed plumber a spokesman for middle america.
Just how do you know it’s the liberal media, and not the conservative media?

Why is the liberal media staged outside Joe The Plumber’s house instead of Bill Ayer’s house?
Reason - the Democraps are scared as heck because Obama cannot connect with the pulse of “real America”.
The chickens are coming home to roost libs.

I understand John McCain is closely linked to George W. Bush. In this case, McCain actually admits he’s supported the failed Bush Administration policies 90% of the time.
This just in: John McCain also has a good buddy in Joe the Plumber - the guy that will benefit from Obama’s tax cut plan, yet operates an illegal business without a license and refuses to pay income tax to Ohio. Say it ain’t so Joe.

Name calling in Political campaigns seems to be the norm, moreso by the Republicans these days. Why expect apologies, the deed is done. Apologies don’t correct anything.
To the republicans, the ends justify the means. That’s fine, except when their own campaign tactics cost them points in the polls, and most likely an election. Rest assured they will cry foul. I say, who cares.
