Where is John McCain’s fire?

If (and that is a big IF), Barack Obama is elected in November, John McCain has only himself to blame for his defeat. Where is the fire and determination that have been McCain’s strongest
characteristics, especially during the first debate?
Unlike many voters, I have actually studied the candidates, and contrary to what the Obama campaign and many liberals would have you think, Sen. McCain knows more about finance and the economy
and its intricacies than he is given credit for.
For example, Sen. McCain was a co-sponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005 (Source: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s109-190) that would have
addressed the regulatory issues facing many of the agencies and banks that are now at the crux of the financial problems facing America.
I will let the readers determine why it was never passed, but Sen. McCain should have pointed out his involvement during the debate. Why didn’t Sen. McCain speak to how the Community Reinvestment
Act started by President Carter and revised in 1995 under the Clinton administration, impacted the problems we are facing today?
Sen. McCain is not a one-dimensional candidate. He does understand the economy, but he must make his case to America. Unfortunately, if he does not do so soon, I fear the Republican Party and
Sen. McCain are handing this election to the Democrats on a silver platter.

“He’s welcome in college because the vast majority of colleges are so far to the extreme left ...“
So pwanon, I’ll tip-toe around this the best I can, but - are you saying you never went to college? You were never exposed to the teaching of the extreme left?
Or perhaps you attended Liberty, where you were only exposed to the teachings of the extreme right?
It is okay to expand your horizons from time to time - just to learn the earth is not flat. You won’t fall off the edge, I promise.

“We also don’t leave any white towels out…anytime liberals come over and find them, they start waving them frantically and surrendering to the nearest inanimate object. “
haha! Ok, ok. I actually do give up, pwanon, or I will never get any work done today. Pass me the white towel.
And in all seriousness, I apologize for my stupid wife/cousin joke about your survivalist compound.
warmest regards, jva

“Does your wife/cousin let you talk that way in the compound?“
No…we speak much more quickly and use words that have more than five letters in them with liberals aren’t around.

“When you donate to Obambi, do you make the check out directly to Al Qaeda? Or does it get laundered through someone else? Just curious. “

“Coming from the same guy who uttered…in public no less…“buh bye, loser.” Yes, jVA…your writing just smacks of education. “
Ouch! You have just hurt my feelings so much. I feel so badly I just donated another $25 to Obama in your honor. Ah, that feels better.
Hugs, jva.

“That’s right! That’s why we knuckle draggers look down on anybody who goes to college”
Yes, you’re correct. We Republicans scorn education. Or, at least education that comes from left wing radicals like Bill Ayers and Obambi.

“But glad to see you’re still eagerly anticipating surrender of Iraq to Iran. Always the rallying point for Democrats. “
Yeah, pwanon wants to stay in Iraq another hundred years. He just doesn’t want to pay any taxes to do it. We can borrow from the Chinese. He doesn’t want to go fight there himself. Somebody else’s kids can do it.
What a patriot!
I’m sure most Americans agree with you about health care btw. Its just such an impossible problem to solve, why bother trying? Who really cares about affordable health care? All most Americans care about is making sure ExxonMobil gets another $4b tax break next year.
Keep running with that. Its working really well for you.

“Yes, jVa, I’ll keep talking about all these things. Because they matter.“
pwanon, if they matter to you, then yes they matter. You keep talking about them if they are important to you. We just don’t have to listen.
We’ll keep talking about how Republicans choose Bush before they choose McCain - and are wrong on both counts - and how John McCain’s policies are so very similar to the Bush Administration policies he supported 95% of the time.
Your choice to listen or not. I suspect you won’t.

“He’s welcome in college because the vast majority of colleges are so far
to the extreme left, and that even a domestic terrorist doesn’t stick out.“
That’s right! That’s why we knuckle draggers look down on anybody who goes to college. Or at least anybody who only goes to one college. If you go to five or six to get your bachelor’s then you can’t be all bad.
We should go back to the days when men rode around on dinosaurs. Life was good then.
hah. If you think pwanon is having a coniption today, just wait until Nov. 4th when the election results come in.
