Why no coverage of BMX racing?

The Freedom National BMX race was held on a recent weekend at the NOVA BMX track behind Pitzner Stadium in Woodbridge.
I find it hard to understand why there has been no mention in any of our local papers about this national sports event. Though BMX is not a mainstream sport, it is an olympic sport and deserves the same coverage as other olympic sports.
Especially since it was held locally. Please show more support for our local BMX racers.
