As a wife and mother, I am deeply concerned about the ways in which Frank Wolf has addressed the issue of global warming. Most specifically, part of HR 6, The Renewable Fuels Consumer Protection
& Energy Efficiency Act of 2007, is a serious threat to our economy, climate change and the health of Virginians. This is the part that supports nuclear energy and allowing coal burning plants.

Most of my friends have started taking action by driving less, turning down their AC, changing to energy efficient light bulbs, hanging their clothes on the line, etc. But, we need effective action from
Representative Frank Wolf and our leaders in Congress to do more than the individuals alone can do.

I greatly appreciate his commitment to address the issues, but I am disappointed in his support of technologies such as carbon capture and nuclear energy. We need energy that has scientific backing,
which carbon capture does not, and energy that doesn’t have nuclear waste as a byproduct.

Representative Wolf, please rethink your stance on this issue!

Jessica without those options we only have fossil fuels, ethanol <which according to latest studies may actually be speeding up “Global Warming” Or “Climate Change” whichever one you choose to believe? Their is always Hydrogen <with storage systems being the problem on that one> yet it is the most environmentally friendly fuel with wator vapor as the exhaust. If you dispose of the nuke fuel into the sun or in one repository how much danger can their be? We need solutions and it looks like Rep. Wolf is taking the best action he can. Chris Cummings
