The latest partisan screed of Del. L. Scott Lingamfelter, R-Prince William, “Moderate Democrats reveal their liberal agenda” demonstrates that he is very familiar with right-wing clichés, but is oblivious to his own record.

Lingamfelter decries big government, but doesn’t remember that his own budget requests topped $50 million this year. If he was really interested in keeping spending under control, he might want to start with his own legislation, rather than pointing fingers to score cheap political points.

Lingamfelter talks of “tough choices” to fight crime, but neglects to mention a February floor speech he gave against funding “Alicia’s Law,” which would help law enforcement track child pornography traffickers. He chastised Del. Brian Moran, D-Alexandria, for asking for money to fight online child predators in a tight budget year.

Is punishing child molesters really a “tough choice” for Scott Lingamfelter? Or is he blinded by his own partisanship? Northern Virginia voters deserve better.

All is about political game my friend, Hillary during her campaign said she was under hostile fire in Bosnia; Obama said that he never heard anything wrong from his pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright in is 20 years as a member of his congregation;McCain also told a big one on the eve of the Florida primary, when he claimed that Mitt Romney had advocated a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq. They all make “honest mistakes” in order to win.

In his 2001 campaign literature, Lingamfelter claimed he had been a “columnist” for the Potomac News. Not true. Why would he say such a thing?
