I’m glad that Steve Halleman thinks that Frank Principi is such a Godsend to this county. Since Mr. Halleman thinks so much of Principi he should try and contact him by any means of his choosing and let us know how that works out for him. He also needs to read and pay attention to Steve Bradish’s comments. I agree with him wholeheartedly.

I, too, had my differences with Ms. Barg. As Mr. Bradish said, her constituents knew where they stood and she was willing to listen to us. In all the years she was our supervisor my calls to her and my emails were ALWAYS answered.  She NEVER failed to return my calls or answer my emails. If she couldn’t get back to me, she made sure one of her assistants did.

I’ve tried twice to contact Principi and I didn’t even get so much as the obligatory “I got your message but I really don’t care what you think.” A simple acknowledgement would have been nice but I got
NOTHING.

I disagree with Mr. Bradish about Principi having one term to prove himself. I usually reserve a second chance for my grandchildren only. I made an exception and gave him two chances.

As far as my household is concerned— and we are one family (2 people) living in a single family home — to we legal, natural born citizens who can vote, he is persona non grata because he’s essentially useless anyway. Then again, I guess that’s where we went wrong. We are natural born citizens. We vote and pay taxes so we are entitled to nothing.

This is for Ms. Barg. I owe you an apology for all the headaches I gave you over the years and I know I provided my fair share. Several years ago I wrote a scathing letter criticizing you that was published in the Washington Post Extra. When you called me at work for an explanation I told you I would never apologize for that. Never say never. As Mr. Bradish said about Mr. Principi, I think I fell out of bed that morning and hit my head. You were in the line of fire and it’s come back to bite me. As the song says, “you don’t know what you got till it’s gone.” I’ve learned my lesson. I’m sorry. I was wrong.  Will you consider coming back?

We need someone who knows that they were elected to represent those of us living legally in our district. More than that we really just need someone to represent us because we have nobody now.

I’ve had about as much as I can take from the Mexicans Without Laws Crowd. The Resolution is about Illegal Aliens and not aimed at only the Illegals from South of the border. It’s about foreigners who decide to break the law and enter MY country without permission. Do you know what would happen to you American Citizens if you decided to go South of the Border and work without permission. Try it and hope you don’t get caught because you would be locked up for a long time in some hell hole. If you are really concerned about the law-breakers send all your spare change to them in their home country so they won’t need to come here. My generosity is reserved for the charities that take care of the issues within the boarders of the USA. Enough of my hard earned money is given to foreign countrys by the idiot elected officials in Washington already. I’m sick of it and my votes reflect it.

hacenedb,
ETHNIC CLEANSING??? If we want to hear your liberal puke then we can go to WashingtonPost.com. We are tired of your sour grapes tour on this site each day. Quit your crying about HSM and continue to support the group Mexicans Without Laws. Nancy Lyle is married to an Hispanic so that now makes her the mouth piece for all of her Husbands Illegal Friends and Faimly members. You love to use the word hate. How about using it in the context about the true feelings of Mexicans about American Citizens. Every poll taken south of the border in Mexico comes to the same conclusion and that is they have a negative veiw of the US. That is hard to imagine as we have bailed them out many times over the years and continue to do so. What would Mexico be witout the US?

There was nothing noble by Mr. Principi’s actions in attempting to dismantle the rule of law resolution. It shows a general disrespect for our laws and the wishes of the citizens of Prince William County.

Although I am not a member of HSM, I am tired of the well meaning, respectful members of HSM being unfairly labeled.  All of us should be thanking the members of HSM for improving the quality of life in our neighborhoods through their hard work with neighborhood services.

I’m afraid I see Mr. Principi as a divisive force on a previously united Board.  The course was set and the resolution was having its intended effect?  Why upset that apple cart?  Why not just leave well enough alone?

We needed rid of Barg a long time ago. She represented only those who were social services. She spent Discretionary Funds that was to be used for the improvement of the Woodbridge District, but she gave away to HER favorite Charities. That helped get her votes.
She would have done no different than Principi,as she told later she can’t support Resolution and was out to get it changed.Principi has listened to her. Don’t be fooled.

Ms. Griffin:

Unfortunately, Mr. Principi is only interested in hearing from the anti-resolution crowd.  This is who he is placing his bets on for further political advancement.

One supervisor out of the many had the courage to question the HSM sponsored resolution and the world has turned upside down. We do not elect a representative to mimic what we think and to respond to the our whims. We elect them to lead because they have a better vision for our future. This vision will incontestably tell them that the first thing to preserve is the unity of our community! one supervisor got it right and he deserves our praise and admiration. We are proud of your actions, Mr. Principi, and we thank you for saving the honor of this county. Many PWC residents will recognize the value of your noble action before it would be too late! One has to be blind to fail to see the hate and division this resolution has generated and the ethnic cleansing agenda behind it. I urge the community to denounce this dangerous approach to solving our problems. We want to do the right and sensible thing in our county,  not the HSM way but the American way!
