Trials for two women charged with animal cruelty have been continued to October.

Two women charged in an animal cruelty case had their bonds revoked in Prince William County this for allegedly violating their bail conditions, court documents state.

She says the malnourished dogs that investigators found on the property had arrived in that condition.

The two women who owned and operated a animal rescue outside Manassas Park were charged with more than two dozen counts of animal cruelty following a nearly two-month investigation, Prince William police said Wednesday.

Officers from the Prince William County Police Department’s Animal Control Bureau were at a dog rescue for the better part of Monday after receiving a complaint of animal cruelty that provided police with new information into an ongoing investigation.
