Last season the college football season ended with the Louisiana State University Tigers as the national champion.
The first national champion to ever have two loses.
Don’t be surprised if yet another team from the Southeastern Conference is holding the national title when the upcoming season comes to an end Jan. 9, 2009 in Miami.
The SEC is once again loaded with talented teams such as Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Florida and the University of Alabama.
The SEC could very well send nine teams to various bowls this season, including the National Title Game once again.
A lot of people feel Florida will tangle with Ohio State in this year’s title game, however, I am looking for a rematch of last year’s game with LSU battling Ohio State once again and the outcome staying the same, with LSU winning it all.
Ohio State will come from a very weak Big Ten Conference and will probably not be challenged until the final game of the season when it takes the field against LSU.
Once again, the SEC will prove to be the most powerful conference in college football.
Here is how this year’s bowl lineup could end up…
• International Bowl - Cincinnati vs. Bowling Green
• Congressional Bowl - Navy vs. Maryland
• New Mexico Bowl - UNLV vs. Fresno State
• St. Petersburg Bowl - Rutgers vs. Central Florida
• New Orleans Bowl - Florida Atlantic vs. Marshall
• Texas Bowl - Texas A&M vs. SMU
• Motor City Bowl - Michigan State vs. Central Michigan
• Armed Forces Bowl - UTEP vs. TCU
• Humanitarian Bowl - Boise State vs. Boston College
• Las Vegas Bowl - Utah vs. Arizona State
• Hawaii Bowl - Hawaii vs.Oregon State
• GMAC Bowl - Western Michigan vs. East Carolina
• Independence Bowl - Kansas State vs. Mississippi State
• Emerald Bowl - Arizona vs. Georgia Tech
• PapaJohns.com Bowl - Kentucky vs. Pittsburgh
• Poinsetta Bowl - UCLA vs. Brigham Young
• Champs Sports Bowl - North Carolina vs. Illinois
• Meineke Car Care Bowl - Louisville vs. Wake Forest
• Music City Bowl - Miami, Fla. vs. Ole Miss
• Alamo Bowl - Michigan vs. Nebraska
• Holiday Bowl - California vs. Texas
• Sun Bowl - Kansas vs. Oregon
• Liberty Bowl -Tennessee vs. Tulsa
• Chick-fil-A Bowl - Alabama vs. Virginia Tech
• Insight Bowl - Oklahoma State vs. Northwestern
• Outback Bowl - Iowa vs. South Carolina
• Cotton Bowl - Auburn vs. Texas Tech
• Gator Bowl - Florida State vs. Notre Dame
• Capital One Bowl - Florida vs. Wisconsin
• Sugar Bowl - Georgia vs. West Virginia
• Fiesta Bowl - Oklahoma vs. South Florida
• Orange Bowl - Clemson vs. Missouri

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
PREDICTIONS
