Woodbridge High School
• Age: 28
• Year: Third
• Accomplishments: Woodbridge won The Running Store/City County Championships and a Cardinal Dis-trict title.
• Most memorable moment: “Winning the first outdoor title in 11 years against a competitive Potomac team. That was inspiring to a lot of the younger kids. That and the 4x4 got ninth in the state with a freshman, sopho-more and two juniors.”
• What did you enjoy about this year? “Throughout indoor and outdoor, seeing the hard work pay off. A lot of athletes did cross country, indoor and outdoor track. They’ve been working since [last] June on the district titles for indoor and outdoor. Seeing them accomplish this thing they’ve been working for all year, it was really great to see everything pay off.”
• What do you enjoy most about coaching track? “I like learning the events and coaching as many as I can. I also enjoy helping athletes get to the best of their abilities by learning the technique, lifting weights and learn-ing the form.”
