Jessye Jewell scored three goals and Pamela Norkus two to lead Battlefield (2-0) over Potomac, 9-0. Sahar Aslaki, Tara Rotante, Kaylyn Shaffer and Katie Ostrovecky each scored once.
Potomac fell to 0-2.
• STONEWALL JACKSON 1, GAR-FIELD 1: Hannah Fulgencio scored the Indians' lone goal on an assist from Nicole Beck Tuesday. Indian goalies Melissa Roessler and Laura Currie combined for eight saves. Gar-Field is now 1-2-1 on the season.
BOYS SOCCER
• GAR-FIELD 4, STONEWALL JACKSON 1: Carlos Menjivar scored less than a minute in and AJ Painter added two goals in the second half to lead the Indians (1-0-1) to victory.
Luis Cartagena broke a 1-1 tie with a goal early in the second half.
• HYLTON 2, DOMINION 1: Zack Rusk's penalty kick tied the game eight minutes into the first half and Rogelio Hernandez's goal in the second half gave the Bulldogs (1-1) the victory.
Jonathon Sheffield made 12 saves for Hylton.
• BATTLEFIELD 3, POTOMAC 1: Franco Buzzalino scored two goals while Obed Siawor added one more as the Bobcats (3-0) defeated Potomac.
Reid McKee and Thomas Mayhugh were also acknowledged for their performances.
GIRLS LACROSSE
• WOODBRIDGE 15, STONEWALL JACKSON 4: Caroline Strand scored six goals and Cecilia Pasquale added five as the Vikings topped the Raiders.
Kelly Walker scored two goals while Bethany Whitlock and Jenna Gibson each scored once. Sami Nichols made 12 saves for the Vikings.
GIRLS SOFTBALL
• STONEWALL JACKSON 3, WOODBRIDGE 0: Britney Orsborn's triple in the bottom of the fourth inning scored Krystal Smith to give the Raiders (4-0) a 2-0 lead. Orsborn scored on a passed ball for the games final run.
Melissa Kirby pitched a complete game, one hitter with 10 strikeouts. Amy Roop went 2 for 3 for Stonewall.
GIRLS TENNIS
• FREEDOM 9, SPOTSYLVANIA 0: Fatmatta Wurie, Angie Leon, Krystal Anyang-Kusi and Krstle Parker picked up singles and doubles victories as the Eagles improved to 2-0 for the first time in school history. Jennifer Park and Kelly Nguyen each picked up singles victories while Shantell Reyes and Kenesha Jackson picked up a doubles victory for Freedom.
• OSBOURN PARK 9, STONEWALL JACKSON 0: Osbourn Park improved to 1-1 with a shutout over Stonewall. In the singles matches, only No. 3 Libby Butler had a close match. She won her first set 7-5 before a 6-3 win in the second set. At No. 5, Kelly Flom won with a pair of 6-0 sets.
BOYS LACROSSE
• OSBOURN 7, WOODBRIDGE 4: David Estoclet scored three goals and Devin Bushweller scored one for the Vikings (1-2) Monday night. Mike Herrity, Bushweller and Josiah Walczuk each had one assist and Aaron Bradley finished with 25 saves in goal.

Hi Staff,
Just wondering why I don’t see much Lacrosse coverage. Stonewall Jackson Varsity had a blow out against Freedom last night. One team member on Stonewall scored a team record with assisted goals.
